turn that timing chain into belt driven and it would be almost worth it... why build an aluminum motor??? when you can get a stronger iron based engine. like the B or H series?

R18 can use R20 camshaft. I recommend the original coil for the best R18.

Hi sir again follow up only hard to find engine block selling r20 parts or assembly in Philippines. Wondering the r20 crankshaft , pistons n connecting rods are plug n play for an r18a bottom end . If say plug n okay is it necessary for the crankshaft to be balanced, ?

@@dannycivicfd3455 I understand, Engine R18 can to reach the same that a K20 original, but ever will be limited with relation of air flow, because is SOHC. Another good option is to put a K20 with a stroker kit, i love and want aspirated engine, I like the engine struggling to generate power at rpm haha

Hello Bro do have a question and do you think it is possible , To use the intake manifold of r20a in a r18 since it says , it has stage 3 setup. While the r18 has only stage2 . Do you think it is feasible hoping for kind response . More power on your r18a build .

I don't think there is any difference from the R18, just change it to short in 4700rpm. All this can be tuned with the hondata and its effect gives a little more power.
