Fun story regarding Rocky 3, I met Jim Peterik (lead singer of the band Survivor which wrote "Eye of the Tiger" for Rocky 3 and "Burning Heart" for Rocky 4 in case you don't know) once through a fellow acquaintance, and he told me the story of how he wrote Eye of the Tiger. I remember him saying to me that he got a call from Sylvester Stallone himself and he said he was a big fan of their music and he really needed an opening for Rocky 3. Jim Peterik said he started out with that opening guitar sequence from what became the song and he just played that over and over for multiple days. He said he just kept building piece by piece the lyrics based on how he felt making that guitar sound repetitively. Eventually he put it together and had a hit. He was/is a cool guy. That was like 12 years ago.

Sheeewwww, looks rowdy! If you need any helpful advice building the 9th gen, feel free to hit me up. I'd be happy to share the things I learned from that 7 year long build. I did everything from full bolt-on's NA to PRL turbo kits. Golden Eye was peak N64. Paintball mode, squashing bad guys with the tank, etc. Good movie list 🤘.

A few thoughts. I have tracked an 8th gen Si coupe in orange pearl with a 19mm rear sway bar eibach and it handled great, need a little Scandinavian Flick to combat initial understeer but overall fantastic. The 9th gen Si just felt softer and less razors edge, similar to the difference between the ap1 s2000 and the ap2 s2000. As for your movie list that was legit, though one of if not my all time favorite Arnold movie is T2!

@@jonathancornelius3847 I have PRL HVI intake street MAF, PRL intercooler, RV6 catted downpipe, and the PRL Flex fuel kit. There is a definite difference in power vs Stage 2. The power seems to be a lot smoother.

I’m runnning e25 on stock fuel system, fuel pump handles it fine but anything over that is bad. The car really wakes up even with a low blend, enjoy it!

@2:03 the stoichiometric ratio for ethanol is 9.8 units of air to 1 unit fuel vs gasoline's 14.7:1; the higher the ethanol content the higher the fuel demand for a given volume of air. So at a certain point if you don't upgrade your fp the car will demand more fuel that the fp can supply

Man I know they have K tuner for my TLX Type S but I'd like a phearable tune & in Ktuner for my car I can't change any parameters it's a stage 1 only because they say the ECU is just different, yours sounds good & really fast

Flex fuel ftw! I’m on an e40 blend on MHI. You should look into a Hasport rear motor mount. Makes a huge difference for driving and shifting. World of a difference and helps with wheel hop.

@@Camhill182 Slightly. Hardly noticed any vibration on 62A, but I felt like it got a bit too soft after break in. 70A is perfect in my opinion. You notice it a bit at first but once it breaks in a little bit, the noticeable vibration goes away. I honestly think it’s one of my favorite mods drivability wise. My wife is sensitive to lots of vibrations, so I was worried about that as well, but it isn’t bad at all, imo. She couldn’t tell I changed anything when she got in the car. 😂

So I can run up to E40 on stock fuel pump with FBO’s but at certain RPM’s I can feel the high pressure pump max out as it has a slight dip in power so I just run E30. E85 is the best mod for the Type R

I have a 2020 fk8 it came with different stages , but I'm not sure how and what one in active to use them. Any ideas, please make a crazy noises when turbo kicks in and no one knows why it makes the noise you have any idea m8

On fuel mixture .... shoulda just put the ethanol content in for a full tank and topped it off with 93 . That way no matter what the old level was it won't matter

Congrats on your purchase. Stage 3 just means flex fuel. To get the full effect, I would say you at least need an upgraded intercooler and Race MAF intake. Downpipe too

No he won’t. I’ve been on Phearable stage 3 for 30k miles now. 60k miles on the car now. Car sees redline at least twice a day. Stock clutch is still perfect. The stock clutch is INFINITELY better than the clutch that comes in the 1.5t Fbo Hondata fuel system E40
