I squealed like a little kid when you pulled up the Fuel System box. I have been looking forward to the day you obtained that mod. Can't wait to see you install it and test it. I just got my PRL flex fuel kit (install pending) but the fuel system upgrade is a bit out of my budget at the moment...... Interesting, i checked my VIN on the Honda Recall site and it came up "no recalls". "Bueno Dingo"'s comment below really concerned me as he had the same "no recall" but his failed.

Have you thought of picking up the whitelines anti lift kit it apparently really improves the way the car handles power on accelerations by keeping the weight more over the front wheels

U passed over the flex fuel support box when u where slection the options. But u enabled the other 2 ethanol boxes. U don't need the flex fuel support ? I'm doing.mine now is y I'm asking

I have a 2019 type r and it broke down on me in Utah, I took it to the dealership and I had a bad fuel pump but my car wasn’t on the recall list, it’s been sitting at the dealership tomorrow marks a week 😕

You can go get it checked and see, my fuel pump didn’t start to fail until I took a road trip to Utah I’m from southern Cali and with the heat and everything it didn’t want to start up and fuel would cut off. CEL’s popped up and everything once the dealership checked it out the fuel pump failed all their tests, they may or may not charge you since you’ve had no issues come up

From what various tuners have told me, the stock block and clutch can handle 500whp

@@TORQToolbox That's way more power than I originally heard. My warranty will be up in October. Bought it in 2017. I've been thinking of doing some stuff to increase power but am paranoid it won't handle it long term.

Joe Friday just do flex fuel intercooler and Hondata... should make a safe 360-380whp on e25-30. Thats what I’m going for and maybe an intake soon for the nice turbo sounds and maybe 5-10 HP. Installing flex fuel rn and I’ll install my intercooler tomorrow once it arrives 👌🏼

@@TORQToolbox i actually loaded up the map instructed by PRL and NOO ethanal at all, car really pull hard and that was straight 93. Can't imagine on e40 or higher once u install that hondata fuel pump upgrade. Ill be stuck on e30(will mix this % tomorrow) till i get the chance to upgrade fuel system. You gonna love the difference,every penny into performance on this car is well worth it.

lol....years ago I had a negative power lead hit something metal and it caused sparks. Although it's extremely uncommon, it can happen. And since I'm working on Fuel Lines, I didn't want to risk it

Look, I watched fast and the furious too... But then I grew up. Why do people feel the constant need to fuck with their cars and spend all this money to essentially destroy their vehicles faster? It ends up costing more than just buying a faster car. The civic type R is a beautiful engineering accomplishment. If you think you can do better why not go work for Honda?

Honda built it knowing people would make it an actual race car just like the og type r. Basic things like this doesnt have any effect on reliability if done right. Theres far more to cars than buying a “faster car”. This is coming from someone who builds engines very often.
