The coilovers actually have quite high spring rates, far stiffer than stock springs. However, like most cheap coilovers, they are underdamped. Ohlins are way overkill for this car unless you just want to ball out. Bilstein PSS9 are a great option that gives you very similar spring rates as the s2000 CR suspension, and the shocks are far more beefy and has longer travel (one-piece body instead of 2 piece).

How do you like the Power Stop brake pads? I just put those same pads on my Honda Element. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet since putting them on.

I sold this car before I got much experience with them but I’ve always had good luck with that brand. I didn’t do any hard braking to really test them, though.

Ok. I think next time i need rotors for the Element I'm gonna try their drilled and slotted rotors. I would also like to upgrade to the Acura TSX calipers. I've been told they are a direct bolt on upgrade.

I have an s2000, how do I tell if the rear struts/shocks are bad? The car feels very rough on cracky roads now. Maybe I am just getting older and feel all the bumps more.

Get under it and see if they’re leaking

Yeah, seeing oil residue on the shocks would indicate a leak.
