pro gcc My friend you are doing good job 👏 Just I want to add few more tips 1- concrete should be proper consolidated as in this video we can see plinth beams having too much segregation in concrete in this way dampness can’t be stopped 2- when concrete achieve strength better apply bitumen coat and after laid polyethylene sheet for better result 3- big mistake masons doing during floor preparation is floor level they made up from DPC that’s why when we use water for cleaning the floor dampness also affect to walls

One more important thing to be noted in both DPC and Plinth Beam is that brick laying should not be started the very next day and at a least after 7 days so that the concrete acquire its strenght to bear the load of walls otherwise cracks in concrete will develop and the pupose of controlling the dampness will be ruined.

*Look at the walls of the adjacent house at **0:33**. That house must have a dpc or plinth beam. I don't think there is any way possible to stop this moisture control in the walls.*

Stone foundation is better than bricks foundation.because bricks when comes in contact with surrounding soil it contains water which ultimately gives rise to dampness..and also check out your columns, your columns are starting from plinth beam, which should be from the base of foundation.

Before laying the foundation concrete you should have a layer of pvc sheet to keep the ground water from penetrating the foundation. Thereafter you can again install another sheet of pvc sheet about 6 inches above finished ground level. Concrete beam/plinth built on bare ground will always give dampness. Consult building codes of Europe for guidance. I am a Chartered Engineer in the UK so I know what I am talking about.

SajB: thank you for your suggestion. Also let us know, if we add pvc sheet before foundation work, is it possible tht structure will not form good adhesion to ground as there will be no soil to bricks contact initially?

Yes bhai main ne bi apne house ki build . 1: cancreat 2 - iron rod with 9 inch cesment 3-wall to streat level 4- iron rod /beam 9inch 5- wall of house level/ 3 feet and then fill up with soil How is this type of construction

بلال صاحب ایک سوال ہے! اگر پلنتھ بیم ڈالناہو تو کیا اسکے نیچے بنیادوں کی دیوار مکمل بنانی چاہئے یا 8, 10 فٹ کے فاصلے پر اینٹوں کے پلر (سپورٹ) دے کر اس پر پلنتھ بیم ڈالا جاے اس سے بنیادوں میں اینٹوں اور مزدوری میں کافی بچت ہوگی۔

More iron you use more hotter your house will become. Can you tell more about cavity walls. Will cavity walls help in maintaining temperature in air conditioned houses in summer. Also will slanting roofs help in keeping the temperature low in hot weather.

Salam hamaray yaha Quetta main bunyad two feet main concrete aur RCC ki layer bichayee jathi hai aur us ka bad 1.5 feet ki keenkar bricks layer bichatay. Mujhe pochna that usay bhi plinth beam kaha jatha hai ya wo different construction style hai.

Bilal bhai, is it necessary to put bitumen layer and PE sheet on Plinth Beam. As a layman I assume that PE sheet or plastic will weaken the hold of the wall on plinth beam by creating a structural barrier🙄
