Civil rights attorney Ben Crump calls for justice outside Hyatt hotel in D'Vontaye Mitchell death

Civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump stood Monday outside the Hyatt Regency, where a Milwaukee man died after being held face down by hotel security guards, calling for charges.
Crump also said the man's death would not be "swept under the rug" in the week before thousands descend on the city for the Republican National Convention.
"Everybody in America after George Floyd should have trained their employees and security personnel to not put knees on people's backs and necks," Crump told dozens of people gathered outside the Hyatt during a press conference. "And when people are having problems breathing, don't keep them in a prone position."

Why was this man restrained. I see one side of the story, and only one side. Where is the surveillance video from inside the hotel? Why did it take 4 people to restrain this person. Why did the guy not just leave the hotel when he was asked before 4 guards were needed? All I see is a by stander videoing someone who is being restrained after a incident which had a terrible outcome. But who's fault is it really if only one side is shown?

As a blk man from Milwaukee this is sad ash, but there's other circumstances that took place that led to his death, circumstances that led to a brutal beating. Now some of the comments I seen said something about mental health, so a person deserve to get beaten to death because they're having a mental episode???. Milwaukee is known and always will be known for the deep rooted racism, Even though I have experience lots and lots of love from other races especially white but it still segregated and that's a major issue. So Dvontaye was homeless and mentally ill. Where was his family when he was wandering the streets of Milwaukee, alone, afraid, abandoned??? A decent caring compassionate and RESPONSIBLE family would never allow their relative to struggle so needlessly. Perhaps the REAL evil ones here are NOT the Hyatt staff, but rather the uncaring, uninvolved family of Dvontaye who ALLOWED for this incident to take place.
