I just finished your book Melba. Thank you for giving me a new perspective to what you went through. I was born in Little Rock in 1957. I remember my Mom talking about the Central High integration as I got older, and she said that no one should have gone through what you did. I am so glad that you trusted God to get you through those difficult times.

I just read “Warriors Don’t Cry”. Such a stirring book. Best I’ve ever read. Amazing how brave they all were. God was sure with you and your friends Melba.
