prime your rebar with inexpensive iron oxide red primer before use. cheap and effective. touch up ends and bends with a brush after placing the rebar. epoxy is no longer recommended , moisture gets under it and never dries out creating rust creeping down the bar. add small amount of thinner to red oxide and stir AND shake very well to mix. lay out rebar on blocks and roller it on liberally,(soak it good to dripping) when dry turn over and do the other side. apply 2 coats.

Hello Maam, Our house is 14 years old and in one of the colums there is spalling. I used torchlight look in the crack and I was able to saw corrosion. What will be the solution to this problem ? Will it be enough to clear rust and reapply the concrete ? Or is this a column failure ?

Hello Ma'am, My house is under construction.due to rains not able to put slab for past 12 days. Using JSW neo steel 550D. Now bars are looking like having corrosion. Is there any problem? And how to solve please

Surface rust on rebars after only 12 days is not a problem. The concrete's alkalinity will prevent further corrosion. Should not worry about this
