Civilization 4 Soundtrack Classical Era: Peleponnesian

Damn this brings me back to when I was like 9 playing on my dad’s pc in the basement and had basically no idea what i was doing, good times. Civ 4 overall just had such a goated soundtrack, it’s amazing, especially the Warlords and Beyond the Sword themes.

Rikozilla I am not saying the Renaissance era songs are bad, but I feel like they are very repetitive, boring to listen to (after several hundred turns), and honestly give me a headache after playing for a long time. It may be that the Renaissance Era lasts longer than the Ancient era, or that I feel its songs are just worse quality than Ancient songs, but either way I always miss the ancient songs. If there is any soundtrack I truly despise, it is the modern soundtrack. Good songs, but even less distinction than in the Renaissance era, and those are the songs that I will hear for the rest of the game.

343 is the worst thing to happen to halo Yeah, I know what you mean about the modern era. Those get old quickly. And there are only a few from the renaissance that I particularly enjoy.

thank you! I couldn't figure out where they were - it didn't occur to me to check the Warlords directory because I'm only playing original Civ IV and Beyond the Sword. Not that I'd want to change any of this music - it's too good. Medieval, on the other hand ... I've been substituting my own selections in there for a while now. I can't do faux-Gregorian chants.
