Yeah wtf is this. Kind of disappointed with the inclusion of Flanders. It fucks the Netherlands so hard and Flanders doesn't even make sense. It's located in a completely different country Flanders is pretty much Belgium as they are the major strength of Belgium.

Yea, if he added Wallonia instead of Belguim it would've been easier to understand. But as it stands now, the Netherlands were sandwiched from the beginning. Tough to be honest they did manage to settle unlike Belgium.

Super excited for this series!! It's going to be a lot more optimized and exciting.My picks are Finland and Assyria. However, I support Belgium/Flanders, Ukraine (Kievian Rus), the Papal States, and Sumer.

Perhaps you could download some mod for Basque country, Aquitaine, Aragon, or Catalonia to prevent Spain from forward-settling France, and simultaneously rivaling France. Also, to cure your woes of Scandinavia not being influenced by other civs, I suggest finding a Sami mod. As for who I think will win, perhaps Greece.

It's always hilarious seeing Belgium befriending as many civs as they can. I think they receive units from friends when war is declared against them and with dozens of civs to befriend, that might just play in their advantage... My gamble will be Belgium on the offchance that they're attacked and this feature works the way it should. Might as well go for one of the little guys.

Hey Drew! If you happen to do a last ai only battle before Civ 6 with Europe, to fill out Eastern Europe a bit more, you could add Khazaria, (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=271454943) it's a stable five star mod that's just northwest of the Caspian Sea, as well as maybe replacing Russia with the Soviet Union (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=85510554) or Muscovy (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=389162473), and putting one of the Russian mods that has St. Petersburg as its capital (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=253756482) to counterbalance Finland's expansion. I also think to fill out Africa more, you could add Libya, though I haven't found a good mod for that yet, or the Garamantes (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=102329706), which start in the Northern Sahara, kind of Southeast of where Hippo Regius is, and it could give you reason to place Carthage more accurately as there will already be another civ there. I know I'm rambling but I have a lot of ideas that i think could optimize your ai only battles, and I do think that Italy was too crowded. If nothing else use either Rome or The Papal States, not both, because both of them have their original capitals be Rome, and having the Papal States there really crippled Florence, so taking out the Papal States or Rome and placing one in the other in the accurate spot would be great, you could even use the Italy mod! You could also take out Milan, I wouldn't take out Piedmont as it fills out an important area in the map, but taking out Milan and maybe replacing it with the Two Sicilies (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=544635765)(capital is Naples) instead! I'd also suggest adding Serbia(steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=668398786&searchtext=Serbia) because the Balkans are super empty and up for grabs, and so is the area between the Netherlands and Bavaria/Germany, so using Flanders again but placing it next so Brussels but a little farther inland would be more accurate and would help balance the map. My last suggestion would be too take out the Ottomans, because Istanbul is always a pet peeve of mine, since it should be where Constantinople is, and it takes away the Hittite's chance for easy expansion, you could take out the Ottomans and replace them with the Turks (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=458447427) which have their capital at Bursa which is at the south(ish)west of Anatolia, if you read this, thanks for your patience and sorry for rambling!

Finland, Assyria, Hungary are my top three, however, Ottomans and Mali seem to be going smoothly and you cant forget about Greece and even Armenia could surprise attack Anatolian civs. The Huns are off in there own imaginary world and Kievan Rus' (Kee-Ev-An Roos, Drew) is quite quiet.
