Then we get the brilliantly fun Civ IV and CIV 5 both two world class strategy games. And now for the last 7 years we have enjoyed Civilization VI or civ 6. This graphically updated and streamlined version of civ has seen countless updates, upgrades and DLCs to add new content. And with each iteration new wonderful bugs glitches and exploits have been discovered! I've seen a version of the no city challenge where they levied their early gold into loans with the AI to absolutely snowball their gold income. Definitely something worth incorporating into that strategy. Even more impressively, they managed it on the Cliffs of Dover in the middle of the ocean, so couldn't even explore the map

Spiff’s Pacifist Domination as Eleanor of Aquitaine was why I got Civ 6. Despite loving Civ 1+2, I didn’t really like 3 and fell out of the series. Then saw the wonder of convincing the world to join you with tea and have been hooked since.
