This reminds me of a time when I was a kid, and I used to play a game called Stronghold Crusaders, and in it I would decrease the tax to 0%, and it was even possible to pay them to live there, then I'd add a bunch of "nice things" as the game called it, which simply boosted morale of all the citizens, and soldier units. They would then proceed to be "happy" and not require other things such as "food", which I could tell you became outrageously annoying to upkeep. So then you could just forever last in a siege from inside the castle, without worrying about food shortages, and simple sell things. There was also a glitch in the game where you could build walls around production areas, so the units would be stuck inside working, and place the ox tethers (the transfer of good produced to warehouses) inside your castle, meaning nobody got hurt, so long as you kept the production building closed by walls.

When I see this, I think a collaboration between Let´s Game it out´s Josh and Spiff would be absolute nightmare material planing the most unefficient city xD
@Red-Tower Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure how it would work, but I'd love to see a city-planning collab between LGIO, Spiff, RealCivilEngineer, and maybe RTGame and/or CallMeKevin. Maybe they each spend like 45mins-an hour starting a city and then hand it off to the next person until everyone has had played with each city and seeing the results. Bonus points if they delete as little as possible so they can all recognize the parts they "contributed" (good or bad). I remember Spiff doing something kind of like that as a promotion for (I think?) Two-Point Campus? It was a lot of fun seeing everyone's take on stuff.

I would love to see a LGIO and Spiff collab. Then again, I would love to have 30 million cats. We can't all get what we want. (Unless we kill each other)

If I had to live in New Scammington: I'd open a Restaurant/Grocery shop and live out of it or, due the high level of education, have a job in which I could easily work from home. I'd have a gym membership so I could wash-up there. As long as I can avoid being taxed, you better believe I'd be there.

Totally not a scam living in New Scammington. 11/10 city. Would live here.
@Mac_Omegaly Жыл бұрын
Totally not a scam, think about it. You can probably pack a sleeping bag and sleep in that tram. Play games too. How kind of our city designer to let us use electrical sockets on the tram. Think about it this way... $50 for a three night stay is a fantastic deal.

Can you just imagine being a conductor on your of those overground railways? "My job is to drive this train a total of fifty feet in a half circle. Then I turn around and repeat the process in the other direction. I do this for eight hours, then I have to spend nineteen hours riding the other ones in order to get home."

I have one of the Sim City games, I haven't played it in a while so I can't remember which one it is. Anyways, I always play on Sandbox Mode as when I play in Career Mode I end up being bankrupted after only a short time. I never thought about doing an evil city until I watched this; LMAO (HYSTERICALLY). I have built disastrous roller coasters that no one dares to ride in Planet Coaster and RCT but this is something I might have to try. Well worth a subscription. Oh and lose the fake British accent, we all know you're from Kansas............

Ol' W, said something to the effect of "in my line of work, you have to say something again and again to get people to believe you." It's an old trick, boosted these days by meme culture and corporate controlled censorship. But the truth is the truth. Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken. The Emperor has no clothes, regardless of what the citizens are prompted to say. Hamsters and rangers everywhere, REJOICE!

I can imagine a man telling his wife and kids that he is going to work, arrives 4 months late to his only day of work of the year, works 8 hours and then spends another 4 months returning to his house, just to find all their family dead because they had nothing to eat, since it takes 8 months to do the shopping 😂😂😂

The funny thing is that layout is practically an american suburb. I've never witnessed a more dystopian "living space" than that. (PS> And that's before even accounting for the even more dystopian "Home Owner Association" thing they also have over there.)

We have space to build cities bigger than a can of sardines instead of hyper-centralizing into giant rat-infested concrete cages. Also HOAs are great unless you don't participate in the governance of it or are exactly the sort of person they exist to repel.
