How do you know when the concrete has reached 70%?
@elbuggo7 ай бұрын
IMO, you can use a Mohs' concrete hardness test kit

I will be making 12"X12"X4" pavers that will be placed in a yard for a motorcycle driveway. Do those need to be cured prior to laying down? If so do you recommend spraying, or submersion?
@lukesevcik94853 ай бұрын
Cover them with a wet white sheet and then cover with plastic to lock in the moisture. Sheet should be flat as possible, check the sheet periodically for about a week.

Can we start curing immediately even when the concrete is not completely dry?
@falashlaba20 Жыл бұрын
You should be able to walk on the concrete.
@jackwilliams7738 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely NOT! When you can walk on the concrete without leaving foot prints and after everything is sawcut.

A lot of curing compounds are water based so you don’t want to add more water to it when it’s still drying/curing.
@jackwilliams7738 Жыл бұрын
The curing compound we use you are supposed to spray after you can walk on the concrete without leaving foot print marks and after you aren’t supposed to walk on it for 12 hours. So after everything has been cut and cleaned you should seal it.
@Bizness103 ай бұрын
@@jackwilliams7738 WRONG! You should be watering WAY before cutting. You should not relief cut before 18hrs after it's installed. Depending on the climate and time of year, you can apply water within the first few hours.

After 6 hours of pouring concrete I cured it with water hose gently.. I see some dark streaks on the cement. Why is this happening? And will it fade away after complete curing?
@jackwilliams7738 Жыл бұрын
Probably started water curing too early. Could have waited the next day to start water curing. Or just waited longer…

Did the streaks ever go away?

Sir,I didn't soak bricks before using.now I have been curing brick walls for 40 days.is there any possibility of building cracking? Plz reply sir..

You have to soak the brick before using it other wise it will suck the mortar water making the binding weak .

This video keeps repeating the same thing

They are actually spraying a curing and sealing compound from the hand sprayer. If it were water it would have been absorbed immediately. This video is universal however and everyone does things differently on this planet.
