Why the formulas for cutting length of stirrups in beams is different than cutting length of ties in column? Cutting length of stirrups in beams 2(a+b)+2(9d),and what’s about bends? Thus Cutting length of lateral ties in columns = 2(a+b)+(hook length)-bends
