This is my third great grandfather on my mother's side.

My wife's GGgrandfather was in Co. K of the 137th, but missed Gettysburg because he was hospitalized in Philadelphia. In his diary that we have, he makes note of pards who were killed at G'burg. He himself would be killed later in 1863 in the 137th's assault at Lookout Mountain.
