I like that they are doing the brass and copper versions. I know it’s not a popular opinion but g10 isn’t my first choice when it comes to handle material which has kept me away from a lot of civivi knives. But I really like the way the dogma looks with the way they used the dark and natural color on the handle.

I like lanyards with lanyard beads on my knives I think they look cool and they help with fast pull from your pocket. I just all of a sudden got into lanyards and beads out of no where now I put them on everything with a lanyard hole in it lol

Wow! My Dogma Brass arrived today. Gorgeous blade! Better in person than in photos. Scales quite grippy for metal. And this definitely qualifies as an EDC tactical; very stabby Bowie. I love it! My only negative is the D2. But it is so cool it's worth getting anyway. I will avoid getting it wet. Thank you for calling attention to this one.

Cool knives. I'm off D2 and anything which rusts easily. But that coating on the Dogma Brass puts it back in the game. I may have to hunt one down. Finally just got a dogma, the blue with black damascus version. I love it. Most 3.5"ish knives tend to have a bigger handle than I like. Example pm2, rat 1, backlash just feel huge in comparison.

I only use a lanyard when I'm on a boat. I use an actual lanyard with one end on the knife and the other tied to a belt loop so I don't lose my knife in the water.

Love all of your videos. And your mirror polish edge. Have you made a video where you explain the process you use to develop that beautiful finish. Grandpa had a straight edge razor with that edge. I’d love to learn how to do it. I’ve got two Arkansas stones hand me downs that I currently use. My knifes are sharp, but not looking as sweet as yours. I desire to improve and I enjoy the two of you. Thank you and keep up the good work. I’ve spent more this year on knifes than I have in the last 20. I blame you!

Nope thinking brass. Have you ever seen those old fixed blades that have been in the sheath for years? The brass hilt gets that greenish blue coating. Is not a patina cause you can scratch it off with your fingernail.

Very nice, I currently have two Civivis in my collection an Insight, damascus with copper foil and shredded carbon fiber handles which is probably the most stunning knife handle material I've ever seen! And a plethiros in sandalwood and Damascus. So far I've been happy with civivi. Next one I'm thinking about getting is the hooligan in micarta, looks nice.

I like lanyards. I run my clip very tight so I don't have to worry about losing my knife. Lanyard helps getting it out of the pocket.

I like lanyards not cause i think they look cool or anything but on deep carry knives , if im wearing heavy pants and work or tactical gloves its a lot easier to pull out of your pocket. As a result i got use to having a lanyard so now its on all of my carry knives.

Just got my brass Dogma a few days back. Waiting for the patina to set in. But after watching this video, I got wondering if Frankie does customization with boobtina? lol. Yeah, who cares what anyone else thinks? Can't you tell by using it if it's any good or not? I usually go check reviews to see what other people think before I buy something. Occasionally I want to check other people's reviews to maybe find out some more information about it. But other than that, get what you like man. If it's good you'll know it, if it's not for you, get rid of it. There are so many different brands and knives to choose from, something good for everyone

I put small (1-1.5") lanyards on almost all of my knives. I prefer to pull knives out of my pocket by their lanyard. I love the color of the G-10 on the Shredder. That hole in the blade............hate it! I don't get the brass scales on the Dogma?

It's not just you guys, but other reviews lately, on knives in general, have been kind of getting under my skin. Yes I know it's only a small difference but, 3.46" is not the same as 3.5" lol. Someone else got me on the WE Knives Mini Buster the other day. I asked how big the blade was and they told me 3.5", which i was surprised by because I usually prefer knives 3.5" and up. When I checked though, the Mini Buster is actually 3.46". It does seem small, but it's bigger than I thought. But anyway, I do own 4 Dogmas, lol. That's why I know it's 3.46". 88mm = 3.46". But to be fair you may have got those specs from BladeHQ, which I just checked and they list it as 3.5" but elsewhere and actual specs are 3.46" . Yeah ok anyway I know I'm being anal.

Not a fan of flipper finger choils, I would rather have the edge, although I don't mind Spydercos blade choils. I'm a fan of lanyards on fixed blade choppers, they have no business on anything else. And while I'm ranting I don't like clip cutouts for lefties, they just don't look good.
