the issue is that the handle is too short making hard the rotation. The knife manufacture didn't think about it. Thanks for the video.

i mean its not really for cranking down your screws or disassembly, its a keychain tool to fix a lose pivot etc on the go and it works great for that

I spotted this online a few days back. I’m a gadget dork but I’m not really tempted by this. I’ve never had a reason to either tune or disassemble my knives in the field. When I home, I’ve got full sized tools that are much more ergonomic. Thanks for showing it to us.

It's totally an indulgence... but it's a functional one. I've certainly had pivots and clips loosen up on me while I'm out and about... but for $35, value is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

Enjoyed the review. I was interested in this, but its biggest issue to me was its competition. I have the CRKT Pocket Driver Stash tool - storage for 4 bits and the keyring part comes off to reveal the slot of the bits, so the keyring is out of your way. All in a similar size. I'd take the CRKT and be able to carry a Phillips and flat head bit as well and T6 & T8. Honestly, both lose to my Vero Mini Fulcrums. Thinner with replaceable Wiha micro bits and a pry tool as well (just 3x the price)

but the CRKT is Huge, in comparison...and pushing almost two ounces.. It is bigger than my keychain light.. This Civivi is tiny tiny...That is the whole selling point...I can't see having another big gadget hangin off of my keychain....Like the poster, I carry a SAK on my keychain and pocket, so it covers all the Phillips, slot, and many other items...

This thing has tempted me, but $35 is a tough sell. Did the bit seem to be of decent quality? I am a klutz and will likely ruin a screw with a low quality bit

Yeah price I think will be the deciding factor for most. I wondered about the bit as well, so far it seems to be holding up, but my sense is this is more a light use/tune up kinda tool if that makes sense. Thanks for watching man.

I does, but after the screw is loose it is kind of in the was as you extract it fully. Not a deal breaker, as I like the tool over all. Thanks for watching.
