CJ Lancer - How To: Evo X Style Side Vents

This is a how to for installing EVO X style side vents.
These can be purchased through BodyKits Kingdom: www.bodykitskin... and a few other businesses.
Items required:
The vents
Hot/warm soapy water
electrical tape
double sided adhesive tape (if not on the vents already)
Black Gasket sealant (optional)

The vent in the video looks different than the one on Bodykitskingdom< the one on the website looked like youd be able to see the car paint through the holes?

The ones in this video are alot older and im unable to find the same. Bodykits sell similar ones you are right but yes you can see the paint behind. Rainbow motorsports also sells similar ones :)

you'll need to get a NA lancer fender as the vents have a hole in the fenders on the evos. otherwise you'd have one hell of a sleeper

Great how-to. :D I've got the $50 ones from Rainbow Pen. I haven't used the sealant yet, but I really need to. The edges aren't flush.

wow, man... you've done quite well for yourself. Reason i do mods like this is because im a member of a CJ club and alot of people asked for a toturial on this. Since a few months after the video they are about to be removed and it recently Won ClubCJ.net Ride Of The Month... so im pretty happy with that :P I also have another car... R34 Skyline GT-T, so my money goes into that more than this car :P

It's not just that those with Lancers can't afford an Evo, it's also the fact we have more important things to spend our money on than a vehicle. House, bills, vacations, other shit. 45k (I'd get an MR, I don't do stick. And I'd buy new, I don't buy used), no thanks. I prefer spending 24k on a Ralliart without the high insurance and high repair costs.
