Was CJ Spiller overlooked when he played at Clemson?

Nah he was overlooked when he went to buffalo and got played
@whitetiger51814 жыл бұрын
They straight up wasted this guys talent in the NFL. They put the oldest player in the NFL in front of him for years . Bs . I lost all respect forever for buffalo after that.. buffalo is a shit hole. Worse than cleveland

Don't forget about Travis Etienne. He's already broken the all time td mark at Clemson..and he's going to break the all time rushing yards as well. In 3 seasons 😲😲

@@scottrains8515 and just broke the all time ACC rushing mark of over 4,600 yards. Holy eff right? Would you give the all time best RB title to Travis over CJ now? I think it is one of those things where travis clearly has much better rushing stats and it’s not even close, BUT, CJ was more explosive( and that says a lot seeing as how explosive travis can be) and much more multi-dimensional/versatile than Travis, AND, I think the #1 reason I give it to CJ is because it is very likely that Travis never goes to Clemson if not for Cj. Everyone from frickin Taj Boyd to Dabo admits that CJ is the #1 reason for the Clemson rise to prominence. I understand that doesn’t have anything to do with talents though. Idk it really is a hard question for me. When you watch their tape CJ honestly stands out as the better player to me, but Travis is just so good and clearly the best RB in the nation. Travis has played with much better teammates though, and CJ had to share touches with James for a couple years. Ugh idk haha. I’m frustrated I can’t decide. I guess we will see how well Travis does at the NFL level. CJ definitely didn’t have the NFL career some expected, but he was far from a bust. He simply only had a very short “prime”. His best season stacks up against any of the best single seasons in bills RB history, though. I know that sounds crazy, but what he did by averaging 6.0 YPC on over 200 carries as well as catching over 40 balls for over 450 yards and averaging over 100 yards from scrimmage per game?? That’s honestly one of the best RB seasons I have ever seen in terms of efficiency and volume combined. It’s not quite on the level of Peterson or Barry going for over 2,000 rushing while averaging 6 yards a carry, but other than that, I don’t think we have see even 10 seasons where a back rushed for over 1,200 at such a high clip. Not to mention what he did as a rock returner throughout his career, as well as how well he played when he stepped in for Fred to end that 2011, and then rushing for 933 yards on 4.6 per carry and over 1,100 total yards despite missing over 2 combined games due to injuries? Solid solid career. If Travis can ever have an NFL seaosn at that level, I’ll give it to him.

@@schuylersavage276 Id pick CJ still just bc if CJ had the explosive offense Clemson does now..how many yards would he have
@whitetiger51814 жыл бұрын
Id say this is probably the most athletic guy that played at clemson period. He was so good in college but injuries and nfl coaches really hurt him. He is probably the most loved player in clemson history as well. TL Yeah he gets some hype. But CJ spiller. People went nuts when they talked about him
