Quite cool of Skyhigh to pwn the Jaedong & Friends team in a big matchup. He showed very good nerves, making ballsy plays in important games. Also, I have to mention that the "Jaedong lost on purpose" opinions are lame and silly. Whereas "Jaedong's team would be nowhere without him" is something that I agree with.

No one expected this outcome to occur, not even Jaedong himself, which is why he decided to take it lightly in Game 4. I mean even if he loses, he probably thought his team would eventually get Skyhigh. Hwaseung Oz even though this and sent out two rookies to gain exp to lvl up because they thought they could afford it. Unfortunately for Jaedong and team, Skyhigh blew everyone's expectations well... skyhigh. I commented before that Oz was Jaedong. My statement still stands.

I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned more, but I really think JD 5-pooled because he wanted his team to have a chance to help too. It's not like he totally threw the game, but I think he figured he would go all in and if it worked than great, they win, but if not then his teammates shouldn't have a problem getting ONE win! I think what JD did was good for his team, good for the sport, and good for entertainment. He's probably more frustrated that his team sux than that he lost the 4th game.

Spoiler watch out :O ---------- Skyhigh has certainly established himself here, what a well rounded player. HOWEVER i still believe this victory was less from Skyhigh's play (which was quite nice, especially for a "no name" player, I'm pressed) and more because of Jaedong's very unusual 5 pool attempt... Jaedong could probably have won if he played standard, but must feel pretty annoyed being the workhorse for the whole team GG's either way, this match was awesome to watch!

Erhm, do you even know why he 5 pooled? he did it because Rush Hour III is a terran favored map and thus he wanted to end the game as quick as possible. He has won with 5 pools before, he has in fact won with 5 pools more than he has failed them, so statistically, he should continue to 5 pool more :).

Yeah, Flash is the highest ELO rating, with only 2163. Leta, Hwasin and ForGG are the only others above 2100 TvT. To compare, Jaedong ZvZ is (awesome of course) 2328 with 6 players over 2100, and Bisu's PvP is 2232 but only 3 players above 2100. But you're right, these days no one's truly shining TvT, unlike the other mirror matches.

If you're gonna go all in you gotta go all in. Jaedong would've had a much better shot at winning that match even after the 5-pool if he had kept making lings instead of trying to build an economy. There is no transition from a 5pool into anything else if you don't do significant damage to your opponent, which JD should know.

He'll be fine, he has lost before and got over it, he will again. But people keep saying "if he played a straight up game, he would have won". Obviously, Jaedong didn't feel that way, so he choose to cheese. It's not sure that he would have won in a straight up game, skyhigh is good and it was a terran favoured map, JD could have lost in a straight up game also. People keep acting like it would have been a garatueed win for him, that's not the case even though he is ranked second in the world.

Where do you pull them numbers out? 1000% sure that he would won? Jaedong himself was not sure that he would have won. He played against a terran that is good against zerg on a terran favored map. If Jaedong calculated that the odds were against him, who are you to say "I'm 1000% sure he would have won if he played standard"? Also, if you go and read the interview with him, he wants revenege and he is somewhat happy about his kills even though they meant nothing since the team lost.
