The guy on fire has the ability to shrink anything his stand cuts with that long ahh fingernail. You might think "Oh, he's on fire i guess he loses" but just now he cut his own wrist to shrink and then the BLOOD DROPLETS extinguished the FIRE so he could try and escape. HUGE BRAIN stuff bro

17:53 The fights in this video are edited to make them more fast-paced and appealing. Taking scenes from earlier/later parts of the fight or even other fights to make them fit. Him making himself small while he was on fire was to put out the flames with his own blood and escape undetected, and after the cars start exploding and everything is in flames, is when the fight actually continues, everything between it was an earlier part of the fight. 13:02 That's one of my favorite characters, F.F. or Foo Fighters has an unorthodox way of fighting enemy Stands. One of the few characters that due to their nature, can throw hands directly with another Stand. I won't spoil much, but surviving that head injury is definitely possible for Foo Fighters.

avdol at the end was just helping polnareff, since he respects him he gave him a dagger to stop the pain and to see if he would throw the dagger at him, but instead he didn't betray avdol and avdol stopped the flames and let him live
