Nope, it was a great idea, and it's even better now because it's been updated. V8 engines, faster cars and the World Figure 8 Championship is now a 3 Hour race held at the Indianapolis Speedrome every September. And to make it even more interesting as cars drop out or go to the pits for repairs another car takes its place. You can plan on going through the crossover every 8 seconds or so. Great racing!
