I know that you made this beautiful blanket scarf quite a few years ago, and I have to say that I am on my second one. I am absolutely LOVING these scarves! But the next time that you make one of these scarves, try Hobby Lobby brand yarn called I Love This Yarn. It has more yards and the majority of the skein of yarns are very soft. Plus, when the yarn goes on sale, it's not very expensive.😊 Also, when I look

Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. I made this as just a blanket scarf with no pockets. Canada gets pretty cold and wanted to have an oversized scarf. Turned out great! Thank you 😊

Love this tutorial. I bought the pattern. I want to make one of these for church. I don’t like wearing my big heavy coat and sometimes it gets cold at Mass. can’t wait to make this. I’m going to try and modify the pattern and use either double strand of the Heartland yarn or I’ll try a 5 weight yarn. I’ll make sure to tag you on IG. Great video! New subscriber too! ❤️

When doing the pockets do you chain 1 when turning. When making the scarf/shawl u would chain one when turning for the next row. Thank you this is beautiful..im working on the pockets now ..😊

I like this, but I started last night, I'm making bigger cuz my yarn seems thinner than what you're using, anyway it's taking forever with this stitch, I don't know if I even want to finish it, I'm only on row 30, and it's taking forever to crochet this

@tn2stepper370873 ай бұрын
I know you asked this question 2 years ago but, I was starting this tonight and using a light weight 4 yarn. I figured out that as long as your starting chain is any odd number, it will work. Since you start in the 2nd chain, you end up with an even number. I chained 65. I hope you figured that out and made a beautiful shawl.
@angieruz57482 ай бұрын
Thank you so much, that question was asked back when I was just learning I've come a long way since.

I recently learned the griddle stitch which I just learned today is the same as the lemon peel stitch. But I’m confused because the tutorial I watched on the griddle stitch ended with SC and then chain three. Then when starting next row you skip the chain at the base and you go into the next chain with a single crochet but the chain three counts as DC. It’s all so confusing.
@CJDesignblog2 жыл бұрын
It is not, at the end of the day there’s tons of ways to crochet, tons of stitches and you can make a few small modifications to accommodate yourself and what’s easier for you. Also some stitches look the same, you just have to follow whatever pattern you’re doing and that’s it ☺️ don’t stress about it ♥️
