My favourite part about this suit is always going to be the storytelling present behind it. At this point the symbiote has always been introduced as a next level exo suit, so we can see that reflected in how it tries to appear almost tech like with the piping lines, like an actual combat suit. Then later on, when the truth is revealed, it starts to appear noticeably more organic than it used to.

I think it's more that they justified the suit's design like the Rami suit and, more directly to this, the Spectacular SM suit tried to. Both of those looked at the symbiote and said "if it's molded from Peter's suit by being poured over it then it should just be like that suit". So they had the raised webbing, the same design scheme, etc because the symbiote is literally a mold poured over the suit. This makes sense and is why I dislike adaptions that just have the suit be entirely different despite being poured over another suit. In Spectacular, as the suit gains more and more control over Peter, it starts to look more like the comics as it loses the raised webbing, the spider starts growing, etc. It starts to "outgrow" being spider man in a sense. Deleted hallucination scenes from SM3 would have also foreshadowed this having been the eventuality of the Rami suit too. In this game, they justify the black suit design being more like the comics in many ways, but the biggest thing here is that it's poured onto the Advanced 2 Suit. Which is... An actual combat tech suit made of metal a la the iron spider. It literally is just doing the same thing as the Spectacular Suit and Rami suit, it's physically molded over the Advanced suit for the most part which is why it has its mechanical design. It even allows the iron arms to pop out in this version, complete with them having "black slime" on them when used with the symbiote. Whenever you use Symbiote Surge the suit changes and becomes more and more its own thing just like the Spectacular Suit. All of this is actually taken from Spectacular rather than being entirely unique. It shows the symbiote slowly changing way before the truth is revealed because it changes to the Symbiote Suit slowly each time you use surge, just like in the SSM show. When the truth comes out, the changes that were slowly happening like in SSM are just finalized; the spider grows and becomes more like Knull's dragon, the suit lacks the mechanical indents from the advanced 2 suit, etc. it's starting to assert control and become its own thing very similar to the changes in SSM. Really it's just justifying the physicality of the "black goo got poured over the suit and molded a new one around it" aspect like those two takes on the symbiote and being able to justify having a comic accurate design right away this time unlike those two. The final Symbiote Suit is what you already had before doing Symbiote Surge. So it's just showing the suit slowly taking control way before then, but it's also mainly a "justifying the physicality of this" thing which I appreciate a ton from this take.

What i love about anti venom and venom suits are basically the venom suit have a mind on it's own, while anti venom is peter himself, well at least that is my opinion

Like seriously, the game allows: - an entire skill tree section dedicated to black symbiote skills - lets you swap between regular venom and negative venom skills for Miles. - changes the iron legs colour scheme and design based on the suit you wear. - allows you to pick between different Anti-Venom abilities But all of a sudden all black symbiote skills and symbiote surge are gone come endgame? Did someone forget to do their job? An immersive black suit spiderman was top of the list what i assume a majority of fans wanted and we only got it for a few hours…

It makes no sense. If you use the black symbiote suit after the ending, Spider-Man's webs are black but his symbiote powers remain white. Surely an oversight

Only thing that bothers me is that we can’t use the iron arms freely and we can only use them for a 1 second ability. It should have its own rage mode where it lets you use them like in the first game

The only thing sucks about the black suit in this game is the fact that they force it on you in some missions, i like to change the appearance of my symbiote to the Raimi black suit but whenever im in a story mission, the game just force reset me back to the default black suit, it's annoying and not user-friendly. I hope they will fix this in a patch, maybe give us an option to turn off story suits requirements or something similar in NG+.

It sucks that we miss post game content (symbiote nests/more interesting crimes, anti venom tempest in black) with manual saves because of things like that. Now we'll have to wait atleast a month to get NG+ and we still dont have confirmation that black tendrils will come back for post game.
