So many without power and water STILL...it's shameful.😞 I checked in with my friends and one friend had no power and no where to stay...so I picked her up and she's been here for last few days. I use to be a professional plow driver for six years and really miss it. My favorite place was Fed Ex. They always kept me on my toes since semis would be coming and going. Drove a 78 custom Chevy pickup with a simple hydraulic cable system.

Yes , I definitely understand. Living here in NC we are having freezing rain and we just had freezing rain last Friday and I was without power until Tuesday. So now we have almost a half of inch of ice on the trees and a slight wind. I'm in Lubbock, Texas and we only have less than 5 snow plows. We have nearly a foot of snow here now and the other morning is was 1 degrees with a wind chill of -17. We are in historic event with the snow across Texas and the bitter artic air. There have been rolling black outs as well due to people heating their homes more than usual just to be comfortable.

You are a hard worker and deserve what you have. I have a son who started at a young age. Worked hard ĺstarting off taking my car engine to pieces on the dining room table and putting it back together. Was not happy at the time to say the least. Motor bike on a plastic sheet in the house, because the weather was terrible outside. He now has a lovely wife and family thriving business a beautiful home. No engines or bikes in the house. Totally understand. I live in San Antonio Texas and we just got about 5 inches of snow. This doesn’t happen here EVER, the last time it snowed was 1985 so we don’t have the equipment either. I’ve been without power for 4 days, and now no water.

Yeah, I hate living in Delaware because of how people freak out when they call for any kind of snow. I remember in 1996, that was the last time we had a really bad snow storm. It was I think 3 or 4 feet of snow and that was the last time we had any kind of decent amount of snow

I totally agree with you, my parents brought me up the same way, my mother always said you are never better than anyone else and always put yourself in their shoes, and it is hard work and dedication that will get you to where you want to be, enjoyed the video, brought back memories, my father when I was growing up use to plow the grocery store and other parking lots to help put food on the table and sometimes he would take me and my brother with him

The snow isn't the bad part here in washington it's the wind. We had 70 winds the other night. I have trees all around me so had to be on tree fall watch all night. The trees were froze so when the wind comes they just snap off. We had a 60 foot tree fall opposite side of driveway thank God. I have a quarter mile long driveway so keeping it clear in winter is a job on it's on. We got 5 families that live off it. I have been here longer and live at the end so it's been my job for the last 10 years to keep it clear for the families. I really have alot respect in what you do Cj. You are quit the working man. We got 4-6 inches here in Louisiana and we are completely crippled. Schools won’t start back until Monday morning if then. Even Walmart had to close for two days. And we all know they rarely close for any reason. It’s crazy!!!

I live in Baton Rouge, LA -- we don't get snow or sleet here. We get it about once in three or four years, so the sleet we got Sunday and Monday was unusual and unwelcome. Today is Thursday and it will be mid-week next week before we have daytime temperatures in the upper 50's or lower sixties (which is our regular temperatures here) again.

I thought Delaware got hit hard every winter. Ohio gets the worst of our winter weather in February ; almost every day is below 30 and we sometimes get 2 feet of snow. My son and I have been snowed in for a week.
