Ghost was only a good father during season 1-2 he stopped hanging with Tariq much,when Shawn died,Ghost was busy with his club,angela,Dealing with kanan,milan,lobos.His son was all alone,needing a father figure, its no surprise,That Tariq lashed out getting into fights at school,Kanan coming into his life and corrupting,Because Ghost wasn't around much anymore,it also doesn't help that Tasha wasn't doing any better,telling tariq half truths about His father,but not the things she's done like messing with shawn

I don’t know I think, lying to them was the best way to keep Tarik rest of the children safe then again, ghost wasn’t an abusive father from the very start. He was a good dad how many cared for his family and provided for them problem was eating if you had killed cane and then maybe everything would’ve been fine and maybe if you had explain to San Marino went on with him and Angela’s relationship then maybe toariq wouldve understood instead of being hateful
