I remember when Tasha paid the school something crazy like 30 bands for Raina to have the lead role in whatever. Tasha thought this was right while Ghost tried to teach Raina you need to work in order to get what you want. It still confuses me how Ghost was a bad father til this day

4:45 that scene to me was always telling on how ghost was raising his kids vs tasha's bad way and very telling in their characters ghost has a lot of flaws but so does tasha and her main one is her refusal to take accountability and thinking she behaves like an adult when she acts like life is unfair and wanted her daughter to do the same when ghost was teaching his daughter there's a better way to go about life and working for what you want which is more realistic and hence tasha's response instead of comforting her she found more comfort in her dad's advice.

I tell people all the time tariq's hatred for ghost changed after the jamaicans hit ghost on their way to the knicks game. If ghost was honest about what happen that night & his upbringing, him & raina would still be alive & tariq wouldnt be who he turned into. (This is NOT saying ghost was a bad father)
