Buying an engine isn't budget. 100% you should build you own. It offers more content, and it is most relatable to a majority of your audience.

this channel really inspires me to continue aspiring to open my own chassis shop. i love seeing the guys doing things i’ve asked myself “would this work? can i do it like this?”. obviously their skill vastly outweighs mine, but it’s a securing feeling seeing them do processes and ideas that i’ve been too scared to attempt in fear of messing up. yall and steve morris both have amazing channels and im thankful for cleetus introducing me to this great mountain of knowledge

If you are staying budget then I would suggest doing a stock bottom end (Gen 4 Truck Rods), A nice set of heads, a sloppy stage 2 cam or texas speed cam, valve springs, and regap stock rings for boost. But since we all know that when someone says "budget build" they never really mean it so you are probably going to spend way too much money and get something from Pete so why do you even ask.

That’s kinda the right tool for the backglass. Lots of ways to skin that cat. I remember the first one I did, before I got into auto glass, was with a putty knife and ball pein hammer. 😂😂 Air knife or oscillating multi tool for speed, riskier on the paint job. The cold knife you have there works, but generally better used from the exterior of the vehicle if the design allows it, and that probably doesn’t
