You should rename this video as Royce da 59 reacting to Royce da 59. 😂 I think you guys should do more longer reactions like this. I love when reactions pause and analyze the bars. Pausing and breaking down the bars actually makes the reactions better.

Dad had the perfect take on the MCs vs Rappers. In this day in age Rappers are NOT MCs. You have to separate the two. Rappers come and go. MCs come and go when they want to.

I definitely need to hear pops top five! Respect! I like what you guys are doing, this is the first video I seen from your channel. you can thank Auto play and suggested videos. Im a MC and I wish my dad was feelin hip-hop like your dad is and I hope one day my son quit listening to the popular junk and we can spend time together discussing the sound of the culture and lyricism in particular which is my bag. your dad definitely has a good insight in regards to top 5 or 10 MC’s and rappers different lists or top 10 lyricist and song makers cuz some emcees got hot bars but they don’t make the type of songs that rappers make rappers don’t usually spit bars like the emcees do So that’s my 2 pints.I’m a go check out a couple more videos from your channel Peace!

none of this is a freestyle what you mean? Lol Rappers RARELY actually freestyle, it's pretty obvious when they are doing it and when they are not. This was all written and damn near all the freestyles on Flex specifically are writtens and edited. For instances King Los' freestyle on Sway was real and you could tell because he messed up a couple times but it still was a legendary freestyle
@1969GrassHoppa5 жыл бұрын
@Gregory Smith, I agree that it's written. They call it "freestyle" because it's done "from" the head. No notes. Honestly, it should be called a "performance" because, that's what it is. But, I digress.
@presidentsalad23194 жыл бұрын
All of these lyrics were released in prhyme 2 actually.
@HopeAnchors74 жыл бұрын
There's more than one kind of "freestyle".. the freestyle you're speaking of is "off the top" then their is the ones are written with no specific topic it's just an artist spitting off different subject matters. Regardless, it doesn't pull away from the fact this is fire and Royce is a goat.
@greg27974 жыл бұрын
@@HopeAnchors7 I was speaking on what the dad was saying. he said "you can tell when it is written" and then starting saying this was a real freestyle i'm just saying that's not the case. this was clearly pre-written. Just like Black thought's. It was written. Still dope tho

I honestly think Royce da 59 and Kxng Crooked are way better lyrically than Eminem. Most of the flows that Eminem is doing currently, Kxng Crooked and Royce were doing back in the 90s.
@ShahzaibKhan-fx6st5 жыл бұрын
Bro, you think both Royce and Crooked are better lyricists than Eminem and then you went and talked about their flows ._. Though I have no issues, that's your opinion; I think we may say that about Royce for sure but I'm not really sure about Crooked though. He's nasty, I love him, but I don't think he there yet.

Does your pops not understand literally 95% of the people that go up there spit writtens? Flex wouldn't allow people to go up there & just bullshit off the top & the Artists dont wanna go up there & shit the bed on that big of a stage in front of that many people world wide so the best idea all around is to write some shit before you go up for the occasion or tailor some of your un released shit for this appearance & adlib on it in the process if your capable of doing that... Cuz not everybody is haha Other then that its ALL written! & When people really freestyle its un deniable & the most obvious shit to hear & pick apart... Like Tyler, The Creator... He actually freestyled a large percentage & it was obvious which parts were & which parts weren't... No one is this nice off the top of the head 100%...

ALL of these freestyles are pre written,, Come on man you gotta know this by now.. Only a handful or rappers that actually go 'off the top'.. That doesn't take away anything from what Royce did.. but you're CRAZY if you think he was off the dome here lol Check out Lupe's freestyles or Harry Mack if you actually wanna see a rapper doing real freestyles. I guarantee Royce would even tell you he wrote this shit.
@dariangregory61823 жыл бұрын
Royce is Dope as fk. Big ups to pops for putting his son onto the difference between freestyle (off the dome) and written. Calling written freestyle is late comers trying to redefine the culture and I'm getting tired of blk people cosignin that sucka sht. Give Pops another big up for letting his Son know that if anything, Em stole 5'9 style not the other way around.. Royce was already rapping like this.. Em didn't rap like he does before fkng wit Royce. Calling written freestyle is late comers trying to redefine the culture and I'm getting tired of blk people cosignin that sucka sht.
