Thor God of Thunder Did I say that she was a battleship ? No. She wasn't built to attack "real" Battleships either. That would be the Job of the Bismarck or Tirpitz. The Spee still has extremely good firepower for a ship of her size, but her Job was to take care of enemy destroyers, convois and cruisers.

The 15.5cm turrets only had 50mm of armor, plus one of those ships might have a Mark 45 instead of a 57mm Bofors. The 5in/38 could pen 51mm of armor with its Special Common round at 10,060-meters but the Mark 45 depending on the variant has either a 5in/54 or 5in/62 caliber and it would most certainly be able to pen that 50mm of armor. If its a 57mm, they might just be shooting AP.

the ship is infested with genetically modified rats which make everyone around them going berserk (that's why the musashi is firing against its allies) and disturb magnetic signals, so the anti-ship missiles goes out of control and in some cases they come back to the launching ship.

LCS don't have anti-ship missiles or at least as of yet. It have only hellfires right now. And they are laughable with their short range. They also plan on mounting Sea spear or Griffin missiles but those are similarly short ranged. It might mount Harpoons or NSM but both have yet to be developed. Not like they are that great against armored ships. Furthermore, LCS don't have any long ranged radar to utilize them effectively. It'll just be a bigger bang but not much range improvements. And this is their anti-surface module. laughable tbh. The LCS also isn't planned to even mount ASROC which for some reason is shown in the anime. Modern ships aren't very well suited to fight battleships. ASROC is their best solution(and actually very effective) but LCS don't have that IRL. And in the anime, the ASROC for whatever reason did nothing....

@@neurofiedyamato8763 The ASROC has a tiny ass warhead as in about 100-pounds of explosives, unless you hit near the screws (which if you do, the Musashi like her sister Yamato was designed in such a manner that one hit near the stern wouldn't open up all the prop alleys), its warhead isn't going to punching through that thing's Torpedo Defense System and even if it does, Musashi has over a thousand Watertight compartments to easily contain flooding. Judging by how Musashi didn't slow down after getting hammered with ASROCs, that tells me that the warheads didn't pen the TDS. Remember Musashi pretty much laughed off everything until Harekaze took a swing. It's also indicative of the fact that the flaws in the Yamato class TDS was found and fixed. This isn't because of plot, but a very legitimante reason. Harekaze is armed with sixteen Type 93 torpedoes, eight in the launchers and one set of reloads. The Type 93 Torpedo is a totally different beast compared to the Mark 46 as unlike the Mark 46, the Type 93 is designed to kill capital ships. The Mark 46 is an ASW torpedo that's currently recognized as the NATO Standard for ASW torpedoes, it weighs just over five hundred pounds, with a warhead composed of 98-pounds of PBXN-103, the Mod 5 variant which has the ability to attack surface targets has a range of 8,000-meters at 45 knots thanks to its Otto II fueled engine, with Active and Passive/Active Acoustic Search capability. All-in-all its not a bad weapon and is something that will most certainly screw over even Battleships if it hits outside of the torpedo defense system. The Type 93 Model 3 Torpedo is arguably the most lethal surface launched torpedo of WWII if not ever. It has a weight of 6173-pounds and its warhead is 1,720-pounds of Type 97 explosive, an explosive that was originally developed by the Germans in 1907 and is composed of 60% TNT and 40% hexanitrodiphenylamine plus its about 7% more powerful than straight TNT, at its lowest range setting the Type 93 has a maximum range of 15,000-meters with its Keroseane-Oxygen Wet-Heater engine producing 520-horsepower propelling the torpedo to a top speed of 48-knots (with the conical nose that became 50-knots). The original model Type 93 was a little lighter, just under 6,000-pounds with a smaller warhead but more range. Regardless, the Type 93 was a weapon that had a habit of dealing catastrophic damage whenever it hit. The Mark 46 will do damage to a Battleship if it hits in the right spot, but smacking the ship amidships isn't the correct spot. The Type 93 on the other hand doesn't give a shit about your Torpedo Defense System, its warhead is going to merrily blast through it.

Arcade Ninja the yamato would probably cut the Bismarck off at long range. If the Bismarck can get close, it would be a even fight. Both with monstrous guns and near god like armour. The yamato took nearly 20 torpedoes according to some, I don't think the Bismarck would be able to deploy that many in time. But it would be a epic fight none the less.

Panzerdeal Both ships had the extra two 6 inch triple gun turrets. They both eventually had them removed for more AA guns.
