My first, and likely only attempt at an AMV. I was recommended Haifuri over 3 years ago by a certain gnome lord who described it as "Girls und Panzer but with ships". I watched it, liked it, then for some reason made an AMV based off of it. All I can really say about it now is the techniques I learned from making this were later applied to my earlier War Thunder videos.

Spoilers!: I’m in 2021, I love seeing people hyped for the movie that was released! It was definitely a great movie! However, that movie showed us that a season 2 might not be possible due to the movie describing how they aren’t mutineers, the virus was eliminated, and the Harekaze is apart of quite literally the high school fleet now. The fortress had fallen and XO Munetani did not join the Hiei, there is no story left to tell as I believe our lovely Harekaze crew have gone on to become true Blue Mermaids for performing stunts no normal Blue Mermaid ship could pull off

You could make use of a timeskip where in the future another threat looms and we could get to see grown up Misaki and Munetani either high ranking officials in the blue mermaids or retired. And technically Misaki and her crew are already nearly a battle hardened naval crew given they fought in like, what, more than 3 life threatening battles? The Musashi, Kongou, Graf Spee, and the fortress which btw they had to charge against as they rode the waves made by 18 inch guns from the Musashi. Of course this isn't enough to create a season 2 but I'm just imagining it on a "What If" basis

戦車のガルパンもイイけど、やっぱり私はヤマトと大和が好きなので海上での艦隊戦が好きです。 船や艦による・・・『ジパング』みたいのもイイけど、古い船や艦に現代技術を付けて、女子高生 を乗組員にする事でオカタイ要素が取れて丁度良い物語になっている。 劇場版以降の作品❤が発表されてない(OVA(ODA)もあったけど)のは残念です。

I thought it was stupid - I for some reason hated anime without ever actually watching it, but also high school girls crewing tanks and ships? Sounds like an excuse for people to beat off to girls and weaponry at the same time. Now I jam out to both High Free Spirits and Dream Riser on a regular basis.

Me too. I first found High School Fleet by looking for videos on the Bismarck. I saw a video that looked like it had animated ships on the thumbnail that said Sabaton Bismarck AMV. And I thought. Eh. Why not? It is only 5 mins. That led me to Sabaton and High School Fleet. Which led me to Girls und Panzer. Who would believe that and idea so dumb as girls and tanks/ships would be so dog gone AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
