Had the same thought. It essentially doubles the Rating possible for a single type of dinosaur. This also might get some Herbivores on the lists since you can have a ton of herbs in a single enclosure without issues.

Think of them like magnets. Two of the same gender are incompatible, while opposites will. All dinosaurs are supposedly female so they won’t work, but if you could choose male or female it would work. Does that make sense?

I've had two seizures, dude; that's not how they work. When you have a seizure, you fall unconscious, your eyes roll back into your head, and you're drenched in sweat. That's how they work. But of course, idiots assume that any sort of spasm or sudden motion is a seizure, so no, it isn't a seizure. I can tell you from personal experience that it isn't.

I noticed a lot of people are confused about social groups and population. Hopefully this help, A dinosaurs SOCIAL is how many of THAT species in the same enclosure. The POPULATION is how many dinos of varying species in the same enclosure. If a Suchomimus has a social of 0-2, this means you can have between 0-2 of them in the same enclosure without negatively affecting comfort levels. If it's POPULATION is 0-16, this means you can have between 0-16 dinosaurs total in the enclosure. Typically large carnivores cannot harm small carnivores, so feel free to put a spino and a pack of raptors together, but make sure to have separate watering holes and feed bc they smaller carnos will be frightened by the larger one.

Also note, from what i have seen playing the game these numbers are OTHER dinosaurs, Not including the one you are looking at, so a Social of 1+ means that the dino NEEDs a friend of the same species. 0-2 would mean that she's fine on her own, but can have up to 2 friends.

Well, anyone can sort the dinos by base rating (in-game) and find out who has the best ratings. 🤔 The real work would be to find out who has the best cost/efficiency... And out of all the carnivores, it'd probably be the Dilophosaurus, specially considering you can house 12 of them together in a small enclosure. Each Dilo has a 69 rating, which doesn't seem like much, but 12 of them have a total of 828 in rating. The I-Rex with its 273 rating doesn't even come close. I had three pens with 10 Dilos/each when beating Sorna in Jurassic Mode Challenge (not only them, of course, but they certainly tipped the scale for me).

People keep saying you can keep Dilos, Deinos, and Raptors with a lot of the large carnivores, but I have never been able to no matter how large the enclosure is or how far apart the water and food are because the large ones constantly chase the small ones around until they starve, dehydrate, or go insane and break the fences.

GoGojiraGo put 4 raptors and a t rex in a really good size enclosure. They share the same environmental needs so it's easy. Also have both types of carnivore food on both ends of the enclosure as well as water on both sides and the middle just in case. I have had them together for 15+ hours no breakouts and only one dead raptor, not sure why he didn't run away.

I just said that it happens no matter the size of the enclosure or where the food and water is, the large theropod is far more interested in chasing around the small theropods until they die or break the fences. One time I had a Rex do it until it died of starvation because it was more concerned with panicking the raptors. Frontier really needs to fix the aggressiveness of the theropods.

I did a test on the smaller herbivores being able to live with the Spino, and surprisingly when I put 2 of the struthy in the pen, one got eaten, but the other lived it's full life span, so it is possible, though perhaps unlikely. And that was with a pair of Spinos, not just one.

Brad Stokes I agree, and to demonstrate your point, I have to bring up the "which is biggest" argument people like to have over African lions and Bengal tigers. Lions are slightly longer from nose to hip, as well as a bit taller in the shoulder, but tigers are more muscular and have more body mass (in other words "heavier"). The real kicker in the argument, however, is that tigers take up a greater volume of space overall. You could say that they are "thicker" in addition to being heavier and more massive, and that the combination of all three dimensions (length, width, height) gives the tiger the advantage in *volume.* The tigers of course represent the T.rex in this discussion, and the lions represent Gigano (and arguably Spino as well depending on which interpretation of the fossil records we're going with here).

bissan0909 When I had indominus, it get becoming agitated at random even with all comfort requirements met. This might be a bug, though. Said Indominus was cloned for the last security division, where the game forces your dinos to become agitated. I had spinosaurus cloned for the same mission that also became randomly agitated without a reason. They kept doing it after the mission ended, which shouldn't happen. Need to investigate more.

Has anyone actually had money problems in Jurassic world? Early game its awkward but if you just hatch out 10 vanilla struth the guests throw enough money at you to buy decent dinos then it snow balls. It doesn't matter what rating you have in the park or how diverse your dinos are, it seems they just pay more for more dinosaurs (at least enough for it to not matter). I really wish they would rework the numbers so videos like this would be useful.

Mr Krabs My point was that the money problems are a very small part of this game compared to other tycoon or city building games. Once you get past early game there suddenly isnt any real pressure.

I just make two spinos and call it a day. With two you get a much higher dino rating and they are so less picky on thier pen than that dam mutant rex. Also, double pen everything haha
