Rhino over rex is utterly insane. Rhino are pretty crap in boss fights by the time you have done one Rhino hit then turned around and done a second a rex will have attacked 10-15 times and will have done far more damage.

Fun fact they also extend the spoil time of unhatched eggs!!

I love the game, but the experience/quality of the boss fights is inconsistent. Some of them are exceptionally well designed. Others rely heavily on RNG. The one thing I wish this game had is more build-customizability.

I just beat General Velancia last night on Brutal. She is...an annoying fight. Her mobility is ridiculous, but Ice Barrier is your best bet, alongside Corrupted Skulls that summons 2 skeletons as 4 skellies does a lot to distract her or kill the iron maiden in the centre. I also used a purple longbow and kept my range as much as possible.

I hate the fact that the ps4 version of this game doesn’t get that update I hate it I feel like I’m missing out on a lot of shit I get it it’s cool to play the old version of the game again but the new updates look so cool

Thats good, Trike is good he have many utility, he helps with berries but also with meat and hide because you can kill stuff with him. Also you can stand on his back , if you want to perform some action that require re to be dismounted like on mobile... You will still stand on his back after dismounting and that is so usefull. And first dino that you can tame that is powerfull to defend you from most stuff in game. I would only add, tame high level trike as soon as you can because their max level will be higher. Once you get few high level trikes not much can stop you, other than gigas and alphas t-Rex in pve. I also tame few of them, when starting a new pve game, it gets much easier they can defend you. And also you can tame lower level with slinghoot, get him stuck... So that is even before you even get saddle or tranq arrows

Do they also take things out of the boxes? e.g. for cooking?

It doesn't work for me, as soon as I drop something they all run around and collect everything

My first time playing the stable version I decided to build in the snow biome because my forest gen was trash I was not near any POI and man was that a mistake. My first hoard night I had a really nice set up but got a whole group of rabids and my shotgun ended up blowing the legs off so I had like 4 crawling rabids that messed up my whole set up
