A Rick Roll? Really? :D Nice. Also, I love when devs take the time and effort to add so much detail into their game. It helps with the immersion imo.

I think next to the photographs of main character in the forest, was the torn off piece of the sketch painting. Maybe picking that up leads to a route with a "good" ending? I saw him hover over it but maybe its got a funky interact prompt and you need to crouch to pick it up, the warning at the painting before going back makes me think if thats not it, something else must be done there to trigger the good ending. As always, thanks for the consistent quality content and hard work, been watching about 7 years now and as always, looking forward to next time. Cheers

Hey Chris. Another great job with this game. I really appreciate you reading the text on the screen whenever the characters are speaking, especially in a foreign language. It sound like Russian, but I’m not sure. I know that from listening to past games that you have commented on, that you don’t like to do an incredible amount of reading and I can understand that, but it really helps people like myself who can’t read the text because of a visual impairment. It helps us be part of the game experience. Thank you for sharing this game with us.

That was great, I think it had a nice gimmick of going in and out of the paintings. I wouldn't necessarily say it was super scary, but I think it was suspenseful enough. I'm still a little confused on who was taking the pictures? Was the mirror the cause of the evil spirit or was the act of breaking it, released the evil spirit? All in all though, good game! Really enjoyed this game. Loved the different environments - using artwork and designing the environment after the medium used to create the artwork - was so creative and interesting. Oh, and the Rickroll was hilarious! It wasn’t overly scary, but creepy at times. It kept the uneasiness up, and the jumpscares were mostly really good, not overdone, or lazy. One got me really good! I literally pushed my chair back from the screen, which is something I never do. I’m still confused as to the full story. Who was taking pictures of you, and why? Who, or what, was “slenderman?” I don’t think it was necessarily grandfather, but maybe this Novikov that was hinted about? It felt like we are missing parts of the story. Overall, a fun and interesting game. Thanks, Chris!

CJU: "Oh, shut up, Dad!" Turned out he probably had it coming. 😂 *SPOILER* Soooo, in the end, the protagonist failed to free his family and himself? The game never made clear what it would've taken to free everyone which, imo, made all the wandering around kind of pointless. There were some cool effects, and I liked the portals. Also, the effort was impressive for a solo dev. Too bad important guidelines and a concrete resolution were missing. Thanks for the poopless mega-video, Chris! 🚽👀👍

Can you please play the game “burn house lane?” Made by the ppl that did cat lady, downfall and lorelai. It’s def got similarities with game styles… it’s psychological horror and there’s so many places to explore…. Based in reality but also not… the story is engaging and the choices you must make are truly ones that make you think. The characters are well written, the voice acting is superb imo and there’s much more different places to go and explore compared to the other games. The enemies and mystery of the story and what burnhouse lane truly keeps you wondering throughout the entire game. It’s been so long since you’ve played a game like this with so much horror based on morality, our lives, our choices… and I’d love to see you play and hear your thoughts on the whole world.

I suppose you had some impact in the editing process but I felt as though this game was well-paced and REALLY imaginative. I prefer puzzle/survival horror games, but if I could only have one, I'd choose puzzle horror. I didn't feel like any of the jump scares were repetitive or cheap. They were paced well and all of them made me jump at least a little. I thought the puzzles were pretty good. I like vagueness in puzzles. My only criticism would be to get rid of the kerosene and matches refills. It just feels like unnecessary fluff in a game that is mostly about story, atmosphere, and puzzles. Great game. Thanks for playing, and thanks to the dev for such great work.

This game kinda felt more just like a puzzle game w light horror elements. The thing is that it kinda went from 0-60 between when it wasn’t scary until it was… I feel like the game could be a much better horror experience if it worked out building tension in the atmosphere… not going from complete silence…. To terrifying atmosphere for about 2 minutes for a jump scare and then down to 0 all over again until there’s gonna be a jump scare again. It does that scary atmosphere so beautifully that it’s unfortunate it doesn’t carry that more through the puzzle sections… even just with music… to feel that anxiety and anticipation… I think it would make this great game… incredible.
