Still running my Fold 5. Great phone. Absolutely LOVE the ability to crack the thing open and have a bigger screen, especially for texting or media, since I have big hands/fingers. Makes my life easier. The only gripe I have about Samsung is their menu system. For example, just trying to set a particular sound notification for a specific app (should be easy, right?) takes going through like 6 sub-menus, most of which don't look like they have anything to do with what I'm looking for. If I have to google how to do something on my phone, that's a fail in the "intuitive use" category. I mean, I build computers, I game, and I've messed around with all kinds of phones, so it's not like I'm a noob or don't understand technology, but I've had to google how to do stuff on this Samsung a number of times. When I was running IOS, I had none of those problems. Everything was right where it seemed like it should be. Zero frustration or time wasted. No matter what happened, it just worked. That's the thing that makes me think about going back to IOS. The foldable screen is fantastic and the performance is pretty good, TBH, but Samsung always seems to come with some degree of frustration in its use.

I have a z fold 6. it is not ready for prime time. Feels like an early adopter device and they are SIX phones in. Not case friends, barely spen friendly, a lot of apps are not designed for the fold. It still feels half baked. And for $1800 its a shame.

I have been on samsung since 2015. I have the fold 6 coming from the fold 3. I still wonder if I'd like the iPhone 16. The cameras seem like the only thing that's obviously better imo. I like the feel of the iPhone in hand. I love the multitasking of the Fold. I guess I consume more content than I produce. So I guess I'm more partial to the Fold. But I think the iPhone may be a better phone in terms of just being a communication device. iMessage , FaceTime and ironically voicemail are still unmatched. So it depends on what you want your device to be. Watching videos on the pro max is way more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Sometimes I get jealous when I see all the iPhone cases and accessories. But the Fold is a beast. If you read books on your phone, there's no better reader. They both are awesome. I'll take one of each haha

Some people manage to use an iPhone mini. If the trend was to go back to smaller display tomorrow all of us would adapt again. We humans are just very malleable. Simple fact.

I love when my apple coworkers see my fold 5 unfold. They love it. What kind of phone is that? Same as my gear s2 classic. But those questions tell me that some people are not really doing research or learning specs on what they would actually like vs going with a slightly better model because of great advertisement and keeping up with the jonses. Apple make a great product, incrementally better with each new model. Samsung is a bit of a daredevil and takes chances. The roll is going to be another game changer. Samsung works for me because I can also control my appliances, fridge, washer, dryer, etc.

I have the iPhone 15pro and the z3fold. Z3 screen went black after 3 months. AT&T said it was hinge and Samsung problem. I said coo. Samsung looked at it and said hinge isn’t covered under warranty. I said whole phone is under warranty lmao. They wanted $550 to fix on top of $1800 I’m already paying… so I am salty on Samsung now. Z3fold sat on my shelf for 2 years as a paper weight. Dare I try the 6? I’m pissed at samsung. Money isn’t an issue. But no one else makes the fold style and I kinda like it 🎉

i am team apple but i do think for huge price the z fold 6 should have the integrated s pen and be cheaper then it is and they should fix the crease down the center by now what one is your daily i use a iPhone 13 pro with a apple watch sears 4 so i would upgrade to the 16 pro max since for over 1800$ you would have to spend more to get the most out of the phone getting the s pen .

I have the 15 Pro Max and I don’t get why this phone got overlooked so quickly for the 16 Pro line. The 16 in the real world does nothing my phone can’t and that includes AI. When people say year to year upgrades are not worth it that’s a prime example. The S24 Ultra has been compared to 14 Pro max. 15 Pro max and 16 Pro max. Like that’s crazy. One phone is strong enough to day to day with the latest 3 iPhones flagships. Before my pro max I had a 14 plus because at that time I didn’t care for the pro features. Thanks for your work bro. People need to know you don’t need to follow popular opinion on KZbin because people quickly regurgitate the same talking points

Fold looks amazing but I stick with the iPhone because there are apps that are only available on IOS or they just work and look better over their android counterpart. I’m invested in the ecosystem as well so I’d hate to lose some of that functionality. Love leaving my iPhone on the charger and do everything I do on my phone on my MacBook pro. Someday I’ll go back to android not just yet though.

The only thing I love about my phone 14 pro max is that the texting and keyboard is more responsive but the last time I had a Samsung phone was the Samsung galaxy s8 wonder if they made the texting better. I would love to try the texting on the big screen. Idk. I’m considering it but a lot of people are right. iPhone Disney change only the screen by just a tad or going from 4k 30 fps to 4k 60fps or using that island thing which I forget half the time. Sometimes I hate the iPhone face reader and then I don’t use iCloud I just backup all my crap on my pc. Idk what are yalls thoughts. I have like $400 left to pay on this. I went from iphone to the zfold6. I still have anxiety about it 2 days in. Part of me wants to go back but im invested now lol. I had all apple products and now have switched to samsung products. I feel like my iphone pro max and this phone battery is about the same. Both at 20% by the time I get home from work. Also, my pro max would get hot and this phone doesnt. My pro max was tooo big for my hand, when folded the zfold6 fits perfect. Look at me still tryin to convince myself to keep it 😂

Dope video and that production quality is 👌🏼 I been on iPhone 13PM but just picked up a Z fold 6 instead of moving on to the 16PM. Just feel like we’re at a point in tech where the improvements are so incremental, that having a new and unique experience outweighs sticking with Apple this time round. Let’s see how long that new feeling lasts and if I stick with the fold or sell it for a 16PM 😂

Just switched to team Apple for the first time after switching from my Note 10 plus after 5 years. I’ll just say my iPhone 16 PM feels like a premium device. Speakers amazing! Sounds like I’m carrying Beats pill around then I remember no that’s my phone now 😂The user experience and the famous slogan “It just works” makes sense to me now. Battery life is amazing over 24 hours before I hit 5% off a 100% charge and playing games. The ecosystem is much better but I do miss some things from Samsung like how long it will take to fully charge your battery and of course my S pen. I think I may be an Apple fan now who knew😊 Also iPhone 16PM cameras much better unbiased and I’m a dark skin toned person.

The camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max is night and day better than the Z Fold 6 IMO - there’s no comparison here really. The colours pop more on the iPhone - they look rather washed out on the ZF6!
