Online Multiplayer in Mario Odyssey just got WEIRDER

For anyone wondering why they didn't do Dark Side: Dark Side was actually the first map they tried, but due to a glitch, the mod doesn't sync up players in the Spewart boss fight room, meaning that anyone who hides there is invisible to other players. Smallant happened to be hiding there, and they decided that this was unfair, so they reset the timers. Obviously this was cut out of the video.

@@gameswithpeachcord7498 realistically, because it isn't a major kingdom It's banned from regular gameplay in that deep woods counts as a death if you fall in during a regular wooded round (just to keep the size down, like how in streams after this, no sub area metro sometimes happens), but treating it as a seperate kingdom just was never really considered

New Multiplayer Idea: Death Tag One player is hiding in the seeker (tagger)mode. The others try and chase down that player as a hider and tag him/her. Once they die, they are now running away from everyone. The round ends when everyone has died as a result of tagging the seeker. To put it in simpler terms, 1 seeker and rest are hiders. Seeker runs so he/she doesn’t kill anyone. Goal of hiders is to get hit by the one seeker. Lowest time wins. @cjya, See this comment!!

I think it would get too complicated to police deaths from other sources, because you don't want the game mode to devolve into people finding random ways to kill themselves. Maybe it wouldn't get that bad, but it's a little _too_ dependent on the honor system.

cjya I found an insanely good spot in sand kingdom and I want to see how good it would be in your games. Basically you go to the top of the pyramid and go inside, you burn out the first and jump up to the little thing above the exit and it's just right there. Although you might be able to get on the little platforms across but that's really hard and I haven't done it yet.

If I were playing this, I would be the most unfunny hider in darker side. I would get to the end of the glideon section and start gliding back to the start when someone got close. My strategy wouldn’t be to have fun, it would be to make sure nobody else has fun.

Hey Crafty. I think I want to recommend something. In 2d areas, you should try to make it so that there's some invincibility when entering and exiting pipes since the time it takes is long and if a seeker enters the pipe at all, the hider is dead.

for the deep woods, i know a good spot that sort of involves CJ's strategy of climbing up the vine. If you hold down on your left analog stick while on the vine, since it is constantly going up, you will stay in place. using this, we can get as high as possible and hold down on the left analog stick to stay in place and be practically invisible. and yet, you still have an easy escape route as shown by CJ multiple times.
