I used to play a lot of rhythm heaven as a kid and the off beat games like monkey watch were so hard for me. There is no way i’d be able to do it without sound. I always just closed my eyes and focused on the beat and sound cues and just hoped i got enough for an ok for those

I'm sure someone has mentioned this to CJ by now, but has CJ ever tried out "Rhythm Doctor"? It's similar to "Rhythm Heaven" in its gameplay, and I really think he'd like it a lot! It's a fantastic indie game where the main mechanic is only pressing the spacebar, and yet it's so creative and charming. I really hope he tries it out!

@@jAujAl1 Just looked it up; seems really nice! Yeah, it's definitely more alike to "Rhythm Heaven"; I wouldn't be surprised if the devs were originally inspired by it too, like "Bits & Bops". I view all of these rhythm games as separate from most others (like DDR, Beat Saber, etc.) because most rhythm games are about charting and technical skill with hitting beats on every note, whereas these are about testing your actual sense of rhythm by delaying your button presses until the right moment. Surprisingly, some people are better at one than the other, and vice versa.

I actually tried to do this challenge on the ds and got stuck on the singing trio because if you play their mini game and dont know exactly when to sing you will fail. It also fails you if you make a mistake on the screams that only come up when the instructor says "together now"
