thank you for posting this. i’m in the process of doing a 2jzge cd009 swap on my s14, and i have 255/35 in the rear as well haha. i’m looking around to see how exactly it’ll handle, obviously not the same car but it’s similar. this video makes me wanna get out there so bad.

love the build so far. so, what was the reason why you swapped all the parts over from that finished race car with the 2jzgte to this one?

Thanks, I appreciate it! As I was trying to get the race car back together, I ended up shorting out the stock ecu and SAFC. I was at the point that if I wanted to drive and go to events, I either needed to spend $2-3k on engine management, wiring, and tuning. Or just transfer over the parts needed to get this car going. Which costed me nothing other than my time. It was only a temporary setup(no title) Now, this car is stripped down to bare and trying to decide if I’m going to get the race car back together or dig a little deeper and start on the Soarer. It will be NA/6spd until I get the parts needed to get the 2jzgte going

What tires are you running?

At the beginning, fronts were some old 215/17s and rears were 255/35/18 Kenda kr20a. Then changed the 17” fronts out with 18x10 +0 245/35/18 Federal RSR and did a few laps with the 17s on the rear. Then back to the 18s on the rear with 255/35/18 Lionharts

How did you get the speedo to work with the 6 speed?

I actually didn’t wire in the speed sensor. the speedometer isn’t working
