This doesn't feel like a KZbin video to me. This feels like just sitting with a good friend who is just giving some great advice in my living room. Again, great great content.

It's a thought I've been thinking about for some time. I realize how many times I fall into the trap of comparison and how this leads me to feel inadequate for the situation. And I've never been the competitive type.

Sometimes I think I am worthy of things that bring me joy, given that life is so short. Other times I am somewhat guilty of having costly new good things, even if it’s within my means. So I have decided not to think too much, try to make full use of things.

I love your openness. When discuss such issue with friends, they tend to make it sound it like my problem. Seriously, I love your analogy of the success matrix but the society make the success matrix for us. Like the family, car, houses, etc you have. But everyone should define their own success matrix rather than follow the society success matrix

Thanks for the reminder to set my own success metrics. It is very easy to not just compare myself to others, but also to start to shift what I think success or happiness looks like, even though, truly, I don't agree. It can be a slippery slope.

I think comparison is human nature but envy is something we can redirect or choose to manage better. I don't generally feel envy but I'm also pretty comfortable with who I am. I am of the mind that envy comes from lacking a solid sense of self and if one can figure themselves out they won't feel it as much

this is an interesting topic! Love to hear your thoughts on that :) Personally I try and like to use envy as a hint to what I might desire in life. and, visually the video was also well made. for example the background when you sit with the mic: the two turquoise squares, the picture and the screen, feel very harmonic :)

I believe technology causes a lot of depression and and forces you to be always looking for some new to get you excited in life.. guess what it's all a false sence of satisfaction. If you cant be happy with yourself or in my case it's the lord and me.. you will always be searching, always looking at people and there ideas to make you happy.
