For shoes when they are old, I just leave them outside for homeless people to take, I don't like to waste, I prefer to make everything to give to others first.

Backing up your 'memories' in digital form just re routes the same mindset and gives it a new medium, to truly advance and completely eliminate all traces of it and live life in the present moment and forget about conserving the past

CK you look cute in your cap (not "cute" "cute") but cute in the fact that everything looks spot on in a Minimalist way. I too am a "minimalist" before I even heard the word. For me it was because I like to move at a moments notice and things (including pets) would prevent this life style or way of living for me to feel lighter and move more freely. Thanks for your videos.

So nice to see a video that shows what you did with the decluttered items! I love using Buy Nothing on Facebook to find out people in my community to gift items. There are groups in Singapore, you can find the right local group to join by searching buy nothing facebook using your favourite search engine. I've watched a bunch of videos showing how much donated stuff gets thrown away so I divert as much as I can. Keep up the great work!

I decluttered quite a bit of stuff and would like to keep going but I'm stuck because I don't have the time to consciously get rid of everything... to be honest, that to me is the hardest part. I'm not really that sentimental about stuff, but having to sell and donate and recycle everything is the part that gets me overwhelmed.
@mcrachelgrace95684 жыл бұрын
Yes! I find the hardest part is making the time to go through stuff!! Paper clutter is especially slow to go through. Even 20 minutes a day makes a BIG difference. I'm lucky to live near a thrift store where I can drop off stuff. Sometimes you can just place items next to a trash can on a sunny Saturday, and people passing by adopt the items!

Wow- what great content. Really enjoyed this. A short while back, I suggested you speak a bit slower in your videos and life when speaking English. You sound a lot better. Now just speak a little bit more slower and then your English will really sound nice. In your title you wrote: 'Where did my clutter went? But this should read 'Where did my clutter go?. ( After the verb 'did' always use the present simple. For example :' Did you have a good time' and not 'Did you had a good time'. Remember when speaking English it is not a race. I know that Mandarin is spoken much quicker like the Swiss German we speak here in Switzerland. Please this is not criticism - I just want to help you. Really love watching your videos. I am also a minimslist. Kind greetings from Zurich.

I live in a remote place, a small village far from city, so it is quite confusing for me where will I sell, or give or donate my stuff. so Sometimes if my stuff is not fit to anyone else, i just put it in a box and give "for donation" lable on it. If some stuff are damage and cannot be recycle or functioned as my pets bed sheet or anything else, then i just toss them in trash bin or burn them.

Most non speakers learn it at school. It is only English speakers that only speak English. These days one needs to speak say your mother tongue and another language.

Where I live in Vancouver, there's a art store (called "Urban Source") that sells a lot of supplies that ppl would consider garbage...like the film strips. They will allow ppl to donate or they will buy some of these items (from the person) and they will sell them in their store. There are lot of ppl who can use those scraps of junk and turn it into a beautiful work of art. So I think I will try to donate some stuff to them to sell lol
