Claas are definitely the best machines on the market

Pretty impressive class 8 combine. There sure are a lot of high quality combines out there. The ride alongs are really great. To get the operators perspective is always appreciated.

We run an 8700tt along with a 750tt and have been very happy with them. He’s right, the 8000 series is a corn monster and in beans we can run in conditions with the other machines have to sit for. Every machine has its challenges but Claas is best in our book!

Those 2 headers on adjacent rows - a heart stopping moment! I haven't seen that before.
@stirv64624 ай бұрын
They'd have to be absolute fools to have done that. You can tell it isn't his combine. There had to be about a hairs width between them if they didn't actually touch.

I grew up on Massey combines. From 92’s up to an 860. Then the last one was the 8460. The last ones they had under that name. It was a Class painted red with a Massey name. I was so impressed with the capabilities of that machine. It carried me through to retirement. Had I continued to farm I would have bought a Class . I tried many different kinds, red, green, yellow, silver. To this day I go to dealers just to see what Class is doing. Thanks for the video.

As sophisticated as modern combines undoubtedly are, it has to be noted how sophisticated their headers have become in recent years, whether it be a corn or grain head. Geringhoff and MacDon appear to be market leaders in that respect.

It's great to see one of these on duals rather than the track system they use. Seems that Claas combines are on tracks much more often than tires. I got a good chuckle out of the operator when he made the comment about passing the other combine that closely.😁

Great working machine that appears to get the job done . I love your presentation and they are even better when farmers break it down in Laymen’s terms !! It’s so interesting to watch these videos to see how it’s done ! The price of this machine with the 16 row capability with the cultivator is over a Million dollars . I think you said the harvester was 790,000 dollars and the corn cultivator was 199,000 dollars . They are extremely pricey but I guess if you have thousands of acres it’s the only way to go . I was wondering how they clean all the dust and dirt off their investment . Was thinking if they had an enclosed area that they could have jet blowers and at the same time be sucking it out no water would be needed and they would be easier to keep clean . Just curious because if it were me and I had to fork out a million bucks I would cry seeing all that dirt and dust knowing what was under the debri!!😂 Thanks for sharing the great experience

I wish the salesman would have understood your question of "what kind of corn is going through this?" You wanted to know bushels/hr, he thought what variety. In the previous video when you asked the JD operator he said they were doing +/-2000bu/hr I thought that was very low. I run a 730 with a 6 row head and I can get 1500bu/hr easily. Great video.
