Nerdslayer’s death of a game series covers the problem I believe is the biggest in MO2. And the reason why Crowfall and MO1 and every other open world pvp sandbox mmo dies. No medium/small scale prioritize content. If you’re only focusing on content to get the most people playing it. It will get zerged if it’s open world based. It will get figured out as what’s the best thing to do. Because meta gaming is a thing now a days. And we know the largest army wins in these types of games. The fact that he doesn’t want to focus arenas and does ranked duels. Doesn’t want to do hellgate but something in the open world because it promotes the most to what he says is everyone shows that his focus is on ZVZ and eventually those people raid log and the small scale leaves. Then boom game dies.

I love the game hate the PvP. Wish it had a Pve. Town and outskirts PvP is nothing but gankers and being a newer player stand no chance vs higher level pk. When just trying to level up

You should find a guild and run with them both for protection and to learn the PVP. The PVP is highly skill based, it requires lots of practice.

I was used to attack anyone that aint my guild/alliance...now i talk. Some guilds even see it mandatory that members camp graveyards when they see someone spawning..or at certain traders.. As long as people are toxic as shit the devs cant do a thing.... Unbroken around mohki was the only Guild that even prevents red players from doing that..... So there are some good people around. The problem is that some groups are not effective and creative in making money and then they only thing they can do to get some gold is to zerg up single individuals that are doing crafting shit 😅

I always wanted to play Mortal Online, after buying the game and start playing i was asking myself again and again, why i didn't buy it sooner. Great game with a lot of potential. i will suggest increase the continent map (so you won't get ganked in every point of interest in the game), add more high level armors set and weapons (increasing the peak). Fix dagger playstyle since it's weak, anyone can parry you since you're only stabbing and the dagger is also short so it's hard to hit, and even when you do hit, the damage isn't rewarding.

to be serious here though, I haven't played in a few months, but the last time I did... spiders were 200% unusable. They moved at an unreasonably slow pace, did no damage at all, took one hit to kill, could easily be one shotted by most hammers, or even ele spells... it was in a very bad state. The beast mastery abilities were mostly janked in some way. Like the spiders in nature would use their web on you at a distance and pull you to them... but player spiders won't do the attack until they're on the player, and then they just throw the player out of their own melee range, at the cost of all of their damage? it's... pretty absurdly bad.

Roadmap was a big let down and the population today which did not hit 800 speaks to that. Every major system needs a rework or a fix. You should cover the fact most of the people in the chat with Henrik were not happy.

I rly don't know who's making the decisions, what to add to this game but these new "big" features look (for a non-programmer) so easy, they should not even be a target sprint patch, they should just be there already. Like come on, how is ranked dueling a big thing? Also who the fk needs it at this point? Bugs are still in game that can break your experience completely. Like getting off your mount and it disappears in the ground so you are fucked. Oghmirs and alvarins still have 1 useless clade(nightvision) which Henrik promised to fix like more than a year ago. Broker filters are needed since trinkets were added... I'm disappointed patch by patch at this point. He says they were doing bugfix for 3months, yet they didn't fix any and created some more. 👍

One of the biggest issues with the game right now is all of the chronic doomers who sit there and bitch for hours about dead game/shit devs etc... ad nauseam and yet they're still playing. Quit being such a toxic shit about it. Does the game have issues? Yeah, lots, and I think start vault should spend a little more time focusing on fixing some of those bugs, and fixing core systems like TC, but the game also needs more persistent gameplay loops, like relic wars, that everyone, but especially the endgame players can actually engage with and fight over. The development may be slow but that's fine. We all enjoy the core game and I'm really excited for all the stuff coming to the game in the next few years. I don't care if the population is 800 right now, because all it takes is a couple great updates and systems for that number to double. What the game doesn't need is all the shit-whinging from losers that sit in discord all day complaining about the game they stay logged into for 8+ hours a day. Like, go play Throne And Liberty. Or WoW. They have much higher concurrent player counts, and appear to be more polished, so by all means, go play those instead. Modern gaming culture is just so consumed by this constant need to consume "new content" and then bitch about the lack of content immediately after. It's in every single game, everywhere. I hear people bitch about a lack of content who haven't set foot in half the dungeons in the game. Who don't have professions levelled. Who only have one footy character and nothing else. MO2 is consistently getting better in terms of content and systems, and while the team really need to iron out some of these long term bugs in the game, and they need to rework TC, the team is doing a good job at pushing out content for how small they are. I'm happy to keep paying my 2 subs because the game is good and I play with a group of great people who also enjoy it.

lets be honest... lets be real for ones...we all expected MORE, and this was pretty meh boring roadmap... also he keeps adding features to the roadmap that gets delayed or forgotten and incomplete... it happened so many times that is getting old and tiresome... I feel like we are always getting tease that we are really close to some cool feature that NEVER arrives.

Making potions, food require long time to figure things out. The grind for this game is just a huge time sink. I suggest dumbing up the game before pop falls under the ground.
