I don't play this because of the Sub. If it was like 7 - 10€ it would be ok I guess. With F2P weekends I've play regularly for sure.

20 bucks initial paywall, 5 bucks subscription, maybe keep a 10 bucks one to have 2 characters slots and be allowed to create a guild or have 2 houses, 15 bucks to have 3 characters slots (maybe every 5 bucks + 1 character slots to avoid multi accounts) if the servers are as solid as they pretend them to be they could do it, at least to have twice / thrice as more players as we do. Cut out the time bs by reducing the mastery system impact or cancel it, make the gathering system less time consuming and more interesting, allow guild gathering buildings with npc's farming for them that other guilds can raid.

The game is too niche. It’s hitting a to small player segment. Being good at this aint hard. It’s the result in being the player who kept playing meeting the player who has only played for 500 hours.

People will try it but noone will stay because every starting zone is going to be a slaughterhouse. Some veteran players will do anything to keep new players from starting the game. I've had 5 irl friends join me and try to play this game but they all quit because they get ganked over and over again and cannot progress ingame at all.

Should be a sub deal and cosmetic offering after this 3 day free trial. If not SV is being lazy and stupid. Time will tell.

I'll probably try it out on the free weekend HOWEVER ngl the game will have to be REEEEEALLY good for me to even begin to justify 40$ + 15$ sub. It has to pretty much blow me away. It is more than likely that I wont be playing past the free weekend.

i think it is difficult. i would love to see a f2p haven. so people can try it out. on the other hand, I personally didn't enjoy haven. it felt like a dead game and i almost quit, because i thought the rest of the game could be the same. haven is a good thing to get a feel for the combat and the game flow, but not the mmo part. and the community and mmo part is the reason we play mmos. so not sure if a free to play haven would be a good thing. personally, i found the previous model was way superior, that you could f2p level to a certain point and after that you needed a subscription as premium. if it's because of the bad reviews, then they just need to communicate it better. final fantasy 14 has it's free trial as well, with the same system, you can f2p but you are capped. and that game has good reviews, so the trail shouldn't be the problem. but maybe such a model is just too expensive and not viable for them, i don't know, only they know their architecture and numbers. well, too much text xD I just wish they will get more active players and a thriving world. the players and the project would deserve it.

While I agree a F2P Haven would help a big part of the new player experience is always going to be on the community. Unfortunately the community gate keeps so much info it makes it really tough for new players who do not already know someone who plays. Looking up even the simplest mechanic at times for this game is a trial because everyone acts like everything is some great secret that needs to be kept.

just make haven free to play for people who are tentative on pulling the trigger, no idea why they haven't taken such an obvious avenue after the haven re-work.

They should just make haven f2p then offer a free 3days sub for when people leave haven to try the game out

f2p weekends should happen somewhat often, at least like once every 2 months. the game desperately needs a way to get old players (or new) back

“The latest massive patch” that did not bring anyone back. Dont worry boys. MO1 went f2p. So will this one. It’s been following the same trajectory. The price puts people of because no one wants to pay to play a beta. Have you seen their financials. They are not making money. You have to be the salesman. No one is buying this turd without being talked into it. Having haven f2p only is a scam because it is sharpened and optimized much better than the real game.

That free to play weekend is the compensation promised for weeks of server issues. Also helps boost the numbers artificially for Q1. Also if anyone doesnt believe this, search for compensation on the disc, we asked Robmo and all.

In my opinion: F2P Haven. Then, 15$ sub fee after Haven. Lower barrier to entry, but we keep the necessary subscription so we don't suffer from any alternative garbage forms of monetization.

They need to make it free like it was in mo1 and no houses or strongholds if your playing free. Also I’m thinking they need to get rid of the box price and just do the sub. That way more people are likely to try it and see if they will like it. And for those that paid the box price give them a badass title in game and house item bound to the account… anyway yeah Henrik needs to do something already and make it free and they need to really focus on server stability, tc, sieging, world bosses

A complete Overhaul and rethinking of the nanite/lumen stuff and honestly Sound balance. Cant hear players charging you in plate armor when they're 15m away in a first person game. Cant see players very well becasue everything just turns to mush with UE5

A proper temperature system that's effected by armor, location, weather and Elementalism spell would be baller af and add a lot to the game. I'm tired of seeing people wear plate in the dessert

I just want "poisons", "dual swords/dual daggers" and magic shool with "invisibility magic" (illusions maybe, idk).
