What about a series about true insurance claims that were denied by insurance companies. Because that’s a bigger problem for us average people.

First story: even if that story was true, as an insurer I wouldn’t pay out to anyone who left a candle burning. Your poor decisions are not my financial responsibility. Electrical fire -yes. Robbery, yep. Your stupidity - nooooope

Exactly, and why would any Brittish in insurance be covering for another country is baffleing especially as it's so clearly open to abuse.

@@monkstandinglast Insurrance follow's the owner. One can also insurrance a house you own in another country. Its still the same case,insurrance follows the owner of the insurrance,wherever the person are

I never realized how many dishonest scammers that are out there. I was in a vehicle accident in 2012 which resulted in $29.000 Canadian in vehicle damage. Even though the vehicle was only 1 year old our insurance company deemed it a total loss. I had really bad whiplash and broke my hand from the air bag going off. My insurance agent was quite surprised how little I claimed for being injured. They even paid my wife for the first first week i was off work to tend to my injuries even though I said that was not necessary. I was off work for 2 months. So even though my accident was really severe my insurance agent was really shocked that I did not scam them. She ended up paying me a little for some things I did not think I qualified for. There are 2 things I hate more then anything, that is a liar and a thief.

I have insured with the NFU for many years. When the claim is real and correct they pay out pretty quick BUT they investigate many cases.

The first one reminds me of when my thatched cottage burned down. I had to fight AXA every step of the way over the claim and repairs. If you want good insurance company, avoid AXA like the plague and my ex mother in law.

How I cry Myself to Sleep every night for the Poor Insurance Company's .. Even Legit claims the Insurance Company's don't want to pay .. They have a one way System in Insurance ( Money In ) never out ..

I have never had an issue with either my auto or home insurance paying out claims and those claims totaled the premiums I would have to pay for 391 years.
