Real Crime

Күн бұрын

With unprecedented access to Britain’s busiest legal aid practice, The Briefs takes us into the cut-throat world of criminal law. The Briefs follows the skilful lawyers of Tuckers in Manchester, as they look after their clients on cases ranging from blackmail to murder. The lawyers cover everything from taking on a case where a 63 year old woman is accused of drug dealing to a poet accused of benefit fraud. This is how justice really works.

The man involved in the Wayne Rooney case was so ungrateful with his lawyer and lazy. He said he hopes the judge has a heart but he can't even be bothered to show up to court! Felt sorry for his lawyer

Can't be a very successful drug dealer because the house is a filthy dump. I don't understand how attorneys defend clients that they know are lying to them. Some of the stories the clients came up with are ludicrous.

‘A client’ of Tuckers! So a billion pounds of tax payers money is spent every year defending repeating criminals what a lucrative business. I guess there is no real management of this money given that the crimes are repeatedly carried out and, under the law everyone must be represented, maybe 3 strikes and you have to now pay for your own defence would deter habitual criminality, just a thought. Neither the client or Tuckers would be happy with this however i am confident the tax payers would be very happy. Complete waste of WORKING peoples tax money, lowlifes and lawyers

34:13 Your lawyer is very knowledgeable in that there is a BUNCH of proof you did what you did. Getting angry and acting indifferent will not change that factual proof. Your impulse to always run for a beer and some pills shows you have little control over yourself.

I feel sorry for the lawyers stuck with some of the cases, None of them seem to be a full ticket and all common sense has been lost. That Steven from the Rooney blackmail case is his own worst enemy, Even if the judge did have a heart the guy did the crime even if he was too stupid to act in his best interest he would have got less time if he pledged guilty and stopped pissing off down the pub..
