In the room with the puzzle boxes you didn't need your sword to kill the enemies, if you look at the wall torches you can see they have spikes on them so you can impale them to kill them and the other rooms had pipes on the wall you can use. Saves a bunch of time so you don't have to switch between realms constantly to get your sword back.

Eventually you'll get the ability to shoot the Soul Reaver. I'm so glad the games got remastered cause Soul Reaver was one of my first 3D games on Sega Dreamcast and PS1. Can't wait for Aspyr Tomb Raider remaster 4-6!

I love your sweater! It has swords! I hope you enjoy SR1, but in my opinion, SR2 was peak. After playing SR1, if you're not familiar with Blood Omen, there is a "History of Nosgoth" which you can access through the bonus content that recaps BO and SR. They've already talked about things that you would only know if you've played Blood Omen (Kain refusing the sacrifice and Ariel haunting the pillars).

You don't have to apologize for killing those humans. The humans in the cathedral are vampire worshippers while the others are vampire hunters.

Not all humans, once she reaches a certain place filled with humans if you don't kill anyone there you'll be safe to walk around, nobody will hunt you.

Yes is too dark, but only in remaster. Day and night ciclus was originally discarded, perhaps because it was too dark.

I can't believe my eyes! LoK! It was my first game on PSX that really immersed me in that special way that only games can. Next games of that caliber were for me Dark Souls and The Witcher.❤

@LIZZgame Hallo Lizz. Ich weiß, Du hast eine lange Liste mit Spielen, aber nur zu deiner Information. Wenn dir Legacy Of Kain gefällt, könnte Primal grundsätzlich auch interessant sein. Davon gibt es leider kein Remaster, es ist im Playstation Store als PS2 Classic erhältlich. Da geht es auch um Dämonen und man wechselt zwischen verschieden Welten hin und her. Mit 'nem coolen Effekt für die damalige Zeit.

Hi Lizz, I don't know if you recognised it at todays live stream. I mentioned, I would have liked to help you out with some subtle hints, when you were a little bit lost at the bell puzzle. But sometimes I've got technical problems with the internet connection. I hope you enjoy the 2nd game. As you might have noticed, the story gets a little bit more complex now. I couldn't follow the live stream further, shortly after you started Soul Reaver 2. Again - the connection... It's getting ridiculous.

@LIZZgame That, I know. You already asked for help with a hint, without revealing the full solution. That I would have done. Something like "The pattern on the glass nearby the lever gives you a hint" or "If it takes you too much time, try to find a shortcut".

Turn the brightness up in the settings. Hold either the R1 or R2 button to look around.

I'm still watching part one but hopefully you have learned there are no auto saves right now, I asked the Devs on steam if they would add them but we can only hope , for now anyone playing this make sure you save often cus if you miss a portal and or you're really far , you're either going to have to start the game from scratch or walk all the way back to where you were in the game before you died or restarted after a break

I saved regularly and didn't die once.

It's been a minute but I don't believe you can die in this game. Obviously if you die in the material plane you go back to the spectral plane but if you happen to also die in the spectral plane the game just takes you back to the Elder God chamber game but no progress is lost, you just waste some time by having to make your way back to where you were. There's even a cutscene where the Elder God explains that himself.

I'm pretty sure that's not possible, the start of the game is like a hub world, so it doesn't matter you will always gonna start from that point, having autosave would mean no use for the portals, that's why they're there. That's just how the game was designed, stop being too spoiled on checkpoints and autosaves, you just have to deal with it with this one, not the case for SR2 though, you will start exactly where you saved.
