Women Talking as Claire's performance was so powerful and inspiring and I haven't seen Andrew in as much but Saving Private Ryan was such a perfect film....

Well this was absolutely delightful. These two are a riot and clearly very good friends judging from the banter they have

Finally Andrew Scott made it to the podcast 👏Great interview Josh. He’s a super actor. I’m a little biased as I’m Irish but I feel so much pride for him (and Paul, Cillian and Barry)(also Colin, Saoirse … 😍) Loved Andrew in Sherlock but he has done a lot of great work really. Can’t wait to see All of Us Strangers.

They are so much fun! You brought out a great dynamic I haven’t seen on the rest of the press tour so far. Love them even more.

Love Andrew Scott and Claire Foy, as well as All of Us Strangers. And Mescal, of course. But one of the early questions here is whether the actors ever lock eyes with an audience member. Al Pacino once said in an interview that he always looks for an empathetic set of eyes in the audience. One night, he was searching for those eyes, and found a pair that were burning into his soul. He said, I’m going to direct my performance to that person, whoever it may be, because they seem to be locking into my very marrow. When the lights came up at the intermission, it was a Seeing Eye Dog.

Man, audience Q and As are always so awkward. Whoever has the most fangirls gets most of the questions while the other actor(s) kind of just have to sit there. Ouch!

This was all so weird. Some of the questions and comments by the interviewer, the Harry and Sally part... and how must Jamie Dornan feel having recorded this cute video, after getting those lame reactions 🙈 constant awkwardness.

The sound! Echo anyone? Josh, I love you, but you kept centering every story back to you. You used to sit back a bit more. It stops the flow. And it's really clear when you have a fixation on something. Easy for me to critique yes I know. I've done a ew interviews and they're hard, especially in front of an audience. You were so gentle & gracious with the younger actors in the Percy Jackson on stage interview. The recent one of Tom Hiddleston was great but please, the laptop story by Andrew Scott could have opened up 2 more minutes on theatre audiences manners but instead, it became your shtick.

Great show, but maybe it’s possible to use headsets for live podcasts? And turn down the audience mic so the theatre speakers are not picked up? Couldn’t hear what they were saying. Had to put in CC text but that didn’t help because it’s just jumbled so had to put on headphones.
@mattdavis1735 Жыл бұрын
@@JoshHorowitz Josh let that criticism go in one ear and out the other....Claire and Andrew completely enjoyed their time with you as they laughed so much...and your audience did too 😊

Hi I really hope you read this comment - I have to say the sound on the podcast is terrible 😢 I listen to the Gary Oldman interview and it was shockingly bad - this one also - so came to watch/listen on the KZbin which also wasn't great but so much better than the podcast. Note I'm talking sound quality not content! Please please could you please look into improving this aspect. Content lovely - and is why this issue is so distressing/ distracting. Thanks.
