I’ll say again what I said to someone else here - Jody, in 14x03, says “Anything related to a Kaia, she’s a powder cake. First love strikes quick, and to lose it like that?”. So I’m pretty sure at least Claire canonically was in love with Kaia.

nope, like @Amanda Forsgren said, Jody confirmed it was 100% gay from Claire's side, when she said Kaia was Claire's first love. Pretty sure from Kaia's too, if you listen closely to what Dark Kaia said about them. It could be a stretch, but we'll never know soo
