Please please please Claire get yourself a heat mat. I never have to worry about keeping the room warm or spending money on heaters. Im in the UK and i set my heat mat to 4 and leave it overnight. Ive never ever had a problem with blushing or anything whilst curing ❤❤❤

Beautiful! When I use window clings I let the resin get almost cured to the point where you can leave fingerprints then stick down the clings and use glaze around the edges to keep it from lifting.
@barbwheeler58052 күн бұрын
When i add decals, vinyl, i put down my bottom layer of resin and let it not quite cure. Then i put my decal on and then fill it with resin. It's the same process only not so messy! I love this idea and would to find these window clings! Beautiful!

Hey sweet girl, this is gorgeous!! What I would have done is treated it like a large sticker and only folded a piece of the backing down and connected that to the tray then slowly pulled the backing away while rubbing the cling down this will give you the best bubble free results I believe. Much love and great video as always!!! 🤗❤

Gorgeous tray! I've never used window clings. I thought you were going to lay it down on the mold and then pour. Now I can see were that would have probably resulted in a bubble disaster! I would have squished just like you did. You find the most beautiful and unusual stickers and such on Amazon.

When I use window clings in my resin pieces, I spray the base layer of cured resin with ISO alcohol and then put the cling on it, as you would do when applying it to a window. I've never had it lift from the resin when pouring new resin on top!

To remove the bubbles from underneath the cling just use some soapy water underneath. Use a credit card or a squeegee thing to shove the water to the sides. Dry everything and wait for whatever moisture is left to evaporate.

`love the tray, the blue, the glitter, the windowcling. doesn't the resin heat up? does the heat affect the cling if it were to heat up?, I't not a very deep pour so maybe i's ok. I would make a template of the tray base to so cut out the cling perfectly each time, all the same corners in every tray, but i love the blue and white and all the glitter and those little stars...chef's kiss

Claire, this is just gorgeous! Now I'd purely love to see the other half of this window cling (glittery side up of course) used on the same or similar background that you have used in the last couple of videos! I think the dark moody colours that you used in those would also be a lovely background for it .
