I don’t know if this is like epoxy resin, but please check out the requirements for personal protection. You need actual respirators with resin. People are getting permanent lung damage because they aren’t using the right protection. Please be safe! You’re too beautiful to die young or have no quality of life! ❤️❤️❤️
@ClairesCraftyCorner3 жыл бұрын
@@sherrimiller5258 heyyyy Sherri ... I am safe beautiful ... I wear a respirator, gloves, eye goggles for Epoxy .. and this is not as dangerous BUT you do need to wear a dust mask. I have a dust mask respirator that I wear xxx and gloves when I remember... the jesminite pigment stains like crazy.

@@ClairesCraftyCorner Yes, Jesmonite is water-based and non toxic, so it's a much safer than resin, but the pigments are STRONG, so gloves are definitely recommended! And masks are always a good idea when sanding or working with powders. Love these videos Claire, your passion is infectious! ❤️

Yes queen because I’ve been trying to figure out what this is and like you said nobody wants to share however I used to be a raise an artist and I quit doing it because of the amount of waste it cost and how bad it is to the environment and instead I switch my company to a completely environmentally friendly company so I’m so happy you’re sharing this

Wow Claire,you are such a STAR !!! You are so helpful and selfless. Love love love your work. Marbling is a fabulous effect. How about doing one or more without the colour. Perhaps you could try the effect with different colours too. Even mixing the colours. 💙💙💙👏👏👏😎

Thank you for this video. I have made lot of very heavy shutter cast sculptures in concrete and I am looking to reduce the size of my work so it can be cast in rubber moulds like resin can. This has been a very helpful video and it seems to offer me a medium which is somewhere between resin and concrete, and ideal for more detailed work.

Really love your videos. Cannot wait to get started with my Jesmonite. Can you tell me how you wash your pots? I did read some you shouldn’t put things down the sink?

I love your passion you have for this project. I have never heard of Jesmonite until today when I purchased a Terrazzo kit from my local Five and Below store for 5.00 this kit came with the same tray mold that you are using in this video so now I have an idea as to what my finished product should look like. Thanks for this video it’s a big help.

Claire that is awesome. Love the simplicity of it. How satisfying to demoed on 25 minutes after pouring. They are so stunning. Cant wait to see more. Thank you for sharing. You are such a sweetheart. Hugs Sheryl. 💙🎨💙

Thank you! This was very informative and helpful! I've heard of Jesmonite and seen a video or two on it, but they didn't go into any details about it. I love the marbling! It is really cool looking! I think I will be looking into Jesmonite after seeing this.

I found this video so helpful! Thank you. Just a thoughtful tip... Maybe a cooling rack for them to "breath" and harden just incase you are making multiple types and need the molds. :)
